@narfsounds I second this! I really look up to someone who can do this. I am trying to get better by doing this with one song at a time. I would love it if you could do a tutorial on your workflow for matching a synth sound from a record to your kronos. I'm a kronos owner because Jordan Rudess said it was the best 😂. I've played guitar forever so I can match a weird sound from a record, but with a keyboard I have no clue how to even start with all these cool synth sounds.

Oh My God - what amazing sounds. Where do I start?? So many great sounds and so accurate also.
Our local band does Muse - Uprising and I'm always just using strings, the version on NarfSounds is excellent.
I already have the NarfSounds Rock Pack for the Kronos and I use it whenever I play with my Queen Tribute Band - everyone always comments on how accurate One Vision and Radio Ga Ga are on that specific pack.
I have seen demos from other companies that provide similar packs ... but NarfSounds are the best

Very well done - I checked the page, and am curious still - are these all using sampled sounds for the synths, or do some of them use the internal synth engines (other than the sample engine)? If you have sales for end of year or other times, let me know, would love to have all these sounds to play with... time to get the Kronos out again! :)
Most use internal PCM. A number of the new ones for this volume use Oberheim and Prophet samples.

Great! Be great if you added “You Make My Dreams Come True” by Hall & Oates though. A great 80’s song that lots would like to get the sound on their keyboard to cover correctly

Do you have a video or can you walk us through the reasoning for the alternate tuning on “Walk of Life”? TIA
In the video, there are animated arrows that display the alternate notes. They were made that way to facilitate the harmony notes for the accordion sound that changes throughout the chord progression. You can slow down the video in settings.

I have the "Ultimate" pack - are some of the programs duplicated in the BBP V3?
No overlaps or duplicates with the 80s & Beyond Booster Pack v3. The Booster pack is the supplement to the Ultimate Pack and was designed as an add-on.
Cant work out if you are playing the actual song in the background of some of these
@MrMattberry1 Which ones in particular? The accompaniment backing tracks are drums, bass and guitar. Keyboard parts are played live on the Kronos along with the accompaniment.

Do these patches make use of Karma ?
Mostly Karma as a MIDI manager to switch sounds within a Combi. While on others Karma as a pattern generator.
