Even in our school we had a girl who got her periods during school hours. She didn't recognize it first but then when some boys behind her desk started laughing due to which the class saw it and then one of the girls helped her.
It is such a shame that even the new generation doesn't understand the importance of periods and the fact that education about it is provided in schools even then they still think of it as a taboo or something shameful.

I am reading these comments right now and tbh I feel a different level of bad. As a girl who is still in school, I now feel that I am incredibly lucky to get such friends especially guy friends. I remember one day during my class 9th exam my periods had started and I couldn't go out or tell the examiner because I felt ashamed. The guy sitting right behind me saw the blood and immediately arranged for help. He in formed the teacher very politely and made sure I reached our infirmary properly. There was also another time when my classmate started leaking, so she went to the washroom and stayed there. Some guy noticed and informed m so that I could help her.
I seriously hope that this is how people are everywhere.😩

Creating an environment where we can feel comfortable talking about it and making sure that any one can ask for any kind of help if the need arises, specially in case of little girls who are hesitant and don't exactly know how to deal with it if something goes wrong.

There's nothing bad talking about it.. Those who think it's, bloddy a-holes still live in oldest generation.. These topics need to be discussed wherever one thinks it's, or even in schools n colleges through sex education.. Periods are equally important for women as well as men.. Men need to take care of their women during these times, not make them feel dirty... The worst thing one woman can ever think is that she wished she could born as a boy or man.... This day shouldn't come.. Thank you Pocket Films for showing us such a sensitive topic in a beautiful way 😊

I rebuked some guys when they laughed as one of my classmates got her period, she was in tears and this happened when we're in 10th grade. Those guys were big but when this happened all that fear of facing them on something we've to undergo for months and ages altogether got my rage kicking in. PS- I wish back in those days schools could raise some kind of awareness regarding period and girls. Even though I detest my own period and cramps that I get every month I have tremendous respect for women folk all across the world, how despite all that pain and anxiety they go to work and carry on about their day to day life. 💜 There are men/boys who are really supportive and understanding as well, so there's the spectrum where you get two sides and of those many I've found that goodness in my own father and cousin brothers. 💜

Really wish these videos to be shown in schools compulsorily along with those good touch bad touch ones. The only way to break a taboo is to talk about it!! Power to you guys for bearing that scrutinizing pain and shame on those who find it bad or shameful. Like seriously guys!? They are the ones bearing all those pains, the least we could do is support them! We are the youth! We are the upcoming generation! If we don't start changing, the society won't !

A vast majority of people, even the womenfolks, just feel shy to talk about it with due care and empathy for silly reason, and also for prudish concept. It is hightime to shake off this stupidness and think of the Period issue with a positive mind. Also kudos to all who are associated with making this beautiful film.
