For a player with that little experience in goal, you were pretty decent. But the lowest rated keeper in fifa is around 50 rated, and he's probably closer to the level of Oblak than most good amateur keepers are to him. So a 40 rating is probably quite generous!

How about you make a series where you meet pro footballers and flim a video like this and get your fifa stats. You could get a fifa card for each position and see what position you do the best in. Only an idea 🙃 Great vid

Ngl goalkeeping is very fun, I'm a striker but sometimes when we're short of players I do play as a keeper and it is so satisfying when you keep the ball out of the net

Honestly, judging purely by the stats he was given, while Kieran would still be the worst in Fifa its not by a huge margin, which is pretty crazy since he isn't a goalkeeper.

People think that being a goalkeeper is the easiest thing in the world, but this proves how advanced it is, from distribution to positioning, it takes alot to learn and you did quite well in this, well done

Goalkeeper is 50% of team's success/failure.
I'm no pro footballer, but even I can give life examples to prove it:
I used to play for the school's football team back in the day (I was a centre back) and we were the best team in all tournaments. One year all our major attacking players left the team, but since we had an awesome goalie we remained champions. We scored less but we didn't let anyone score to us.
Goalkeeper is also always the second captain of any team, because he's giving commands to the defenders (he's always behind them and he sees more than them as they might be too focused on the ball and not seeing the other adversaries approaching from other sides)
believe it or not I was actually a very reliable centre back, I could read the moves and tricks quickly and it was always a challenge for anyone to get past me, I'm also pretty tall (192 cm) and somewhat strong which helped a lot,, but without a good goalkeeper and his tips I was never nearly as effective in positioning when I played anywhere else.

I absolutely love this, CZcamsrs that are outfielders having a go in goal, it is lonely it is hard work but we don't get the credit for it
as a person who plays everywhere, i can say that goalkeeper is the most intense and satisfying position. no doubt i like playing more defensive even tho i’m skinny, but i always overcome it with my defensive awareness.

Tip:if the ball is coming in a different direction than you can move to the side so if the ball goes back your still there to save it
