@Jimmy Testa when skyrim first came out my buddy got it, everyone took their turn but once everyone was passed out I got on. I scanned all the talent trees from a friend's profile then made my character. I picked khajeet and went super hard and played all night. When people started waking up I was still on it and a dragon landed, I pulled out my fists and everyone was freaking out cause I didn't have my weapons out. I started punching the dragon and everyone lost their minds. It's a very fond highschool memory

Core shot, core shot, core shot lol is all I was thinking as he was going down lol
Boards aren't that expensive. It's the stuff around them that is.
@@iamcurious9541 majority of good snowboards are 500 to 1000 dollars so I'm not sure where or what board you are thinking of
Nasty Gash is my favorite run! GNU Billy Goat is definitely the board for this job. Good line, boys!
Worst feeling ever is taking off your snowboard to hike to a safer line. Boots just don’t have the traction you need and your board becomes a ice axe anchor. Any moment you could just start sliding. Got cliffed out at crested butte, butt puckering for sure as soon as I had to take my board off.
He took off his snowboard but he was still using it.
So he used snowboard and boots.
And boots work better with rocks.
A lot of us don’t get the/an opportunity to do that stuff, was nice reading why/what happened at the end & why he took the board off.
My most butt puckering run was at CB going down the Headwall. Wasn't ready for it
the ONE SINGLE ADVANTAGE of unbound ski boots
He wasn't cliffed out. He just over confident in his skills and didn't want to hurt his board.

Also this man: *_this is gnarly_* 💀
Lol it looks easy but it’s not. Coming down the hill on the side like that takes a lot of balance that’s why you see him switching positions from front to back cuz if the board slips out and goes straight you are gaining speed fast. This is probably the safest way to approach this slope.
Him saying gnarly literally meant hard in this instance so I don't get what this even means. Wasn't saying it like he was having a grand old time.
The most heart-stopping 1mph, though! The fact that he made it down alive, is testament to the sheer focus of his guardian angel! 😆

The sign said literally it was his decision point. That's all not saying he can't do it just that he should be an expert before trying. His decision. If they really didn't want people to use that part of the trail the sign would have said to not even try and that it's almost certainly dangerous and will harm you. A warning is different than a sign that literally says danger don't go through here or you will get injured/die whatever.
Should've been roped off.

Being in a situation like this REALLY sucks when your feet are strapped to something and you have no foot control 😂
To give you some sort of a reference point. Imagine how helpless you feel when you stumble backwards over a chair you didn’t know was there. I ride tiny skis, and even I have put myself in situations that are so narrow and steep you cannot carve to slow down. You just send it or hesitate and figure out from there.

Its really all those shark fins and rocks that make it more dangerous. All the good resorts out west have terrain like this, you just have to find it.

"well good thing I'm a snowboarder, I don't need to be an expert" sums up alot of different groups of people in this world.
He thought he was an expert, until he saw what expert looks like.
When he said "good thing I'm a snowboarder", that is so true. I ski and snowboard hard stuff all the time and I can for sure say, if I'm snowboarding I don't care what the sign says I can make it down unless there's a cliff.
But not on skis? I hate cold
I’m surprised, I thought skiing difficult terrain would be easier than snowboarding difficult terrain
@@yuhss1767 I would say skiing difficult terrain properly is easier than snowboarding difficult terrain properly. But in terms of succeeding to get down a very difficult slope I think snowboarding is easier because you can cheat your way aka snowplow or half snowplow where you're just rocking back and forth and not turning.
At 45 degrees you will accelerate pretty near the speed of gravity. The friction / air resistance will slow you a little.
I did a ski patrol exchange here back in 97 and my boss and some other co-workers back home thought it would be funny to turn my din down to nothing.
A couple of turns into this chute at the top skiers left of this boarder, one of my skis literally fell off. Got going again only to lose another ski further down. I survived, but was puzzled... So I had a look at my bindings and thought WTF.
I later learned that this was a prank when I mentioned this run to another co-worker on exchange with me, and he sheepishly came clean about it.
Arapahoe Basin has some of the gnarliest terrain there is. And to make matters worse -- like observed in this video -- the snow in Colorado is dry and doesn't particularly like to stick on these boney steeps... So, do take extra care when skiing here. A fall down this run can be fatal.
