I feel your pain and loss my mother passed away in April of this year and I’m so lost without her and I too used to talk to her all the time she’d ask how the beach was because without even seeing me she knew I went because she knew how much I’d look forward to the summer and the beach this year I’ve only gone once I’m so sad that it’s hard just to get out of the house to go and I don’t think the summer will ever be the same again for me
I'm not ashamed to say I looked up this song because of Cobra Kai. I didn't grow up in the 80s, but listening to the songs and watching the movies from that time is the closest the younger generations can get to it

My summer has been cruel because my girlfriend broke up with me! Not only that, she is not being a good friend either, she refuses to talk to me. What the heck is up with that! Not cool! However, things have gotten a little better since then, but the sadness still looms once in a while. This song has helped me with coping with the sadness of that. Great post eli, well done.
