    I'm 6 weeks postpartum c section new mom. Nursing and pumping gave me pain in addition to inactivity post surgery, I have a LOT to restore. This routine did not hurt me and helped for some great relief. Safe and nice. I recommend.

    Wow my back has been it’s worse since having my first baby. it has helped my lower back some what. The yoga positions are difficult. Wish it was slower so I didn’t have to stop and play video continuously. But overall it did help. My body felt a bit lighter after one session Thankyou

      Having a baby really does take a toll on the body. Thank you for the feedback, perhaps you could try this practice here which is slower (not postnatal specific but will be fine): czcams.com/video/AgBFSJ6p2kk/video.html
      Hope that helps xox

    Hi Paula, I’m two weeks PP and just did this and the chest practice, felt so good to get back to it, once again thank you! I would have gone on had the babe not woken 😊 can’t wait to continue with your others. Do you have any specifically for wrists/neck affected by breastfeeding?

    • @yoginimelbourne
      @yoginimelbourne  Před 5 lety +1

      @yoginimelbourne  Před 5 lety +1

      There is also another practice specifically for the wrists available - a recent release that would be fine as well: czcams.com/video/LL7502tozQQ/video.html

    • @yoginimelbourne
      @yoginimelbourne  Před 5 lety +1

      Hi there, this practice should be fine for you to do. Take your time and listen to your body when you practice - anything that doesn't feel right don't do it. Hope all is going well. P

    Hi Paula are these good for post c-section recovery? 9 weeks after

    • @yoginimelbourne
      @yoginimelbourne  Před 6 lety

      Hi, I would definitely check with your doctor before starting anything just to make sure you have made a full recovery. Starting with any practices that doesn't involve direct abdominal work (particularly crunches) is important, so the hips and shoulders and neck, shoulders, chest sequence should be fine. Hope you are going well. x

  • @tsolmonbaatartserenjargal8593

    Hi Paula, I'd like to practice all your postnatal yoga videos. I'm 8 weeks pp through c-section and I think I have 2 finger gap in my ab muscle. Are your postnatal yoga videos safe for DR?

    • @yoginimelbourne
      @yoginimelbourne  Před 7 lety +1

      Tsolmonbaatar Tserenjargal Hi there, thanks for your message. I would recommend that you look for postnatal yoga videos that deal specifically with Diastasis Recti for the time being (I don't have any of these available at the moment - and to check with a health professional such as a physiotherapist or osteopath as to the degree of the abdominal separation before attempting any physical work (your body has been through a lot!). The only postnatal videos in my range that I would recommend for you right now is the 'relax & rejuvenate' & 'yoga for lower back & hips' A bit later down the track it would be great for you to come back to the postnatal videos that focus on the core - bit too strong for now! All the best, and hope you are enjoying this special time. X p

      Tsolmonbaatar Tserenjargal , it is not safe to do these poses if you have ad separations.
      I am 7weeks postpartum and 2 fingers gap and I am following much easier routines that help to close the gap.

    How soon after birth can I start this video?

    • @yoginimelbourne
      @yoginimelbourne  Před 7 lety

      Hi lovely, it is recommended that you wait at least 6 weeks but usually more if you had a cesarean or any other complications. The postnatal range for the 'lower hips and back' & 'relax & rejuvenate' are great ones to start off with. Hope you are doing well. :) x p

    I am 2 weeks pp after a Healthy vaginal birth with no tears. this feels great. Do you have other videos that are good for this stage?

    • @yoginimelbourne
      @yoginimelbourne  Před 3 lety

      Congratulations on your recent birth - amazing! I'm glad to hear this practice felt good, check out this playlist for pre + post natal practice: czcams.com/play/PLE39V1yqWM_EFoCJulsUkpQCNHspxA6pM.html
      Most of the practices in the playlist should be fine - but steer clear of any core strength based sequences for another 4-5 weeks at least. As always, listen to your body and do what feels right for you and take care xox

      Yes pregnancy absolutely takes its toll on the body! I hope the practice helped, if you can try to do some strengthening work as well as this will really help :)
