I visit Vesperman Farms in Lancaster Wisconsin with Andrew Tucker for some foliar applications to give the corn a boost! It has been a wet spring and due to high compaction, the plants are struggling!

Expect a new video every Wednesday and Sunday at 11AM Central!
How Farms Work by Ryan Kuster is a CZcams channel based in rural Potosi, Wisconsin. Our mission is to teach those who didn't grow up on a farm what the farming life is like. These videos show the Kuster family working together raising cattle and crops. We believe everyone who wants to know more about farming should be able to share the farming experience with us and we look to educate the world on many essential agriculture topics.
How Farms Work takes place on ~1,100 acres with around 75-200 cattle at any given time. Four John Deere tractors are currently used on the farm, which are a 4020, 4640, 7600, and 8235R.

This is a superior drone video. No joking around and Andrew knows his stuff, (and how to articulate it). His explanation of the chemicals was superb. I can see that drone working well on a smaller operation.
Hi Ryan Wow, now that was an awesome and very informative video. I'm not a farmer but love to learn new things.
Thank you for posting. I look forward to seeing your new drone videos real soon. Dan 😊
the hyperlapse was amazing. best demo of the ag drones I've seen
This guy has always been really cool. Very knowledgeable and always wanting to educate others. I’m sure he’s a good friend to have.
Hi video sounds like the last 17-20min has no audio or is it only me? Love all your vids🙂
I think he just forgot to add the music to the video
You should have given us a little tour of the place. (Then charge them a little advertising fee. lol ) It would be cool to see how they plan and plant that maize maze!
Now you will have to join the cool youtubers and get a DASH spray trailer to speed up refilling of the drone.
That drone is great when you have to deal with compaction😉👍 Reseeding the areas in the pastures that you mulched would be great👍👍
Nice video Ryan , thanks Andrew very informative. Can't wait to see yours
Great stuff Ryan and Andrew👌👍🙏😎
Fascinating! 👍
Hey Ryan and Andrew. Love the Info Andrew. Take Care, Take it Easy And TRUST JESUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome. Video 👍🏾
you are the only one i know of that is buying the drone so good luck RYAN this is a sure way to save $$$$$$ not to buy 100,000 dollar sprayer or having the co-op do it because that cost a lot of $$$$ best buy you won't regret.
It might be cool and fun but has he done his sums to see if it's economic
I wish I could borrow a couple of hawks to clean up my red squirrel problem.
Really cool video for sure.....
Hey Ryan that is a big drone
RYAN, look up SWEET SPRINGS RANCH in Boonville,mo. If you like horses
I’d like to see a video on how they plant those mazes…. there has to be some technology to that to make it so accurate.
That's a maizing!
Great Video Ryan,I personally have a resistance to snake oil salesmen, which always happens round this stuff, thanks for sharing
Great video Ryan and very informative 👍
This technology is pretty cool.
If you are using such small amounts of water anyway you just as well get a Reverse Ossmosis system or use collected rain water. You would get much efficiency with foliar feeding.
How well does it work with being tended by a system with an induction premix system? Chem mix is already put together, and all you have to do is load the drone. Very interesting video, Thank You Ryan!👍👍
Pretty cool video. Hope it's an older video that corn didn't look to tall. Way of the future have a gas generator to charge your batteries lol
You always get the cool toys, oops, tools.
Cool technology. let us know how the maze responds.
I live just outside of Boonville. We rarely get a shout out.
How long does it take to spray the acres done, not sure if that was said
👍👍❤
I know this is off topic but when will we see the video about the barn fire
Once the insurance comes trough I guess
I drank 5 glasses of water after watching this video. It was a wee bit dry
(Too technical)
Very cool technology! I’m looking forward to learning more about the whole process from soil testing to choice of chemicals to application to quality measurements. Are you considering doing custom work?
I am considering doing custom work with it, even to get Hannah trained and certified to fly it as well!
@@HowFarmsWork I’m looking forward to following your drone journey! Good luck!
Holy F that corn is short. Of course I'm in GA.... :) Too bad the Chinese are kicking our a**es with drone tech application.
I would have had the entire field sprayed with a ground rig before the drone was even set up and ready to go...drones sure are efficient...
Ground is too wet for a ground rig. Lots of acres went unsprayed this spring because the ground rigs weren’t moving
