This is one of the classes that changed my Jiujitzu life!! Wish I could relive this day again this week!!
You were there that day?? That's pretty cool.
That little nudge from the elbow on knee as you step over, that was subtle and nice.
Like how Brandeon uses the reactions for the 0ps to sprawl without the toe butterfly half and start working from there for the Pass. Additionally, the strategic Disconnect so you don't get rollover is essential, knowing that you can end up in the bottom position if you keep persistence with tight body connections
Awesome how the way you move your hips along with some cunning frames just cuts through a guard like butter - absolute black magic! Lucky to have you sharing these jedi skills! Thanks BMAC.
Just taught this tonight in the kids class. I called it the BMac Spider-Man pass. They liked it a lot. Thanks brother.
Gorgeous technique!! Truly effective and epitome of technical passing.
Dare I say LETS GO BRANDON!!
Say it, baby!
I love using the punch choke to get what I want. Which is the arm. So I can gift wrap and take the back but I also go for the head and arm sometimes too. Great stuff brother👊
Bingo. The punch choke is fine on its own, but it’s the threat of “real” subs that makes it so so dangerous.
I love this whole series! Will be working on this all month too :)
Another awesome class, thanks for sharing 👍
Great class, I´ll use it in a while, thank´s.
I watch almost every video Brandon puts out.
He's an EXCELLENT coach and teaches at every level at once.
Impressive stuff!
Thank you!
Looking forward to making a JJ tour later this year and your gym is on the list for a four-day visit.
Chad
Do it! We’d love to have you. Much love
Thank you so much for the content Brandon! Also, big thanks to your team and production crew, I know you can't do it all alone.
I love all of your videos!
You always have some great details,
I love having options in positions. I really appreciate you sharing your knowledge!
-Blue belt from Iowa City, Iowa. I train at Citadel BJJ with Matt Leighton and James Kelly.
Thank you so much! Yeah dude, our crew is so awesome and they work really hard. I appreciate the feedback and the love!
subbed.... to your channel. really great content!
Please do more about the chopping block position!
That’s a great teacher right there
Thanks!
Pretty slick, man.
0740 great point of punch choke to get him to open it and his defense against punch choke of pushing off sets him up for your arm triangle
“Pull the S, push the chest” 👌🏻
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽Thank you!!!
Is there a reason to use “s grip” specifically compared to other types of grips?
My brain hasn't hurt this bad in a while
Question for you good sir! Is their a detail in this pass that negates any rubber guard play once you've begun to step over one of the hooks. Is fire and flip always a counter or is their a detail that prevents this opportunity for them.
The mount looks like something Pedro Sauer would do.
I have trouble whenever I attempt this because they either come up and grab the back of my belt and sweep me or they block my outside knee with their hand so I can’t close the space.
Wish I could join this guy's class. Any recommendations for the Denver area?
Yeah for sure! My friend Conor Heun runs 10p Denver. I was just there like a month ago. Beautiful facility
during the arm triangle these guys get screamed in the ear :D
Dude that’s true 😂
7:15 I find this crossface difficult to obtain. How do you establish it?
holy shit you just saved my life bro
I seen a guy grape vine from single butterfly before
What if the person on bottom decides to kip instead of addressing the punch choke, since there are no underhooks for the top person?
If you keep your hips in good position and have weight distributed properly, it’s really hard to do the kipping escape.
I see you close your eyes while rolling, can you enligthen us on that a bit?
Thanks 🙏
It’s not intentional, I don’t guess. Just a little quirk I have.
I'm often doing the same, good to see that some black belts do it, too.
I guess it happens in situations where you're really not using vision anyways.
You don't give this one name. You utilize many names. So, in my notes? This is going to be the BMAC Pass. Aw yeah! Osss!
Stealing :)
Well, that’s awesome and everything. But I call this a Touch Pass
Brandon you are an amazing teacher my friend. Thank you for the content
I appreciate that!
"I'm based." 2:09
You may not know shit now but do it every single day and you soon will know something.
That's not just in BJJ kids, that's in life!!
I hope I get the chance to travel that way to train with you🤘🤘👍👍
Touch pass right?
Yes sir!
Too easy? It felt like a dozen steps. Facepalm. I'll never remember this.
I learn in 10th planet gym as well. I think this instructor showed wayyyy too much at once. If you are co fused, keep showing up. I mean you can also show one move at a time, eventually connecting them all. The reason why I feel this is not the case is because he never once said, "as we learned previously" or "as I showed you guys yestwrday". Slow and steady wins the race.
this is a clip from the middle of a seminar. i appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback, though.
