Amber lights also work good in the spring and summer. Bugs are not as attracted to it like an LED light bar. We love it on our Northstars for around the farm.

Awesome driving Nick! you know how to whip your X3 in them corners lol.. in addition much respect how you improvise to create comfort and performance whereas people with more money than brains simply write a check and have somebody else do their work for them!.. like the expression says built not bought! As for the expedition, I'm digging the utilitarian side of it and what it can do however for a life of me what the hell was players thinking of utilizing a 2 cylinder 114 horsepower engine into something that is so damn heavy especially after being accessorized. They should have utilized the three cylinder engine in it and drop about the Ranger HD after all, it's only good for farm use only..
I sometimes question Polaris line up and its usage... Hell, even Kawasaki's new ridge is going to be a expedition competitor while having a 4 cylinder engine..! Come on Polaris, use your head!. Lastly, next year or year after Polaris better implement a DCT transmission with a turbocharged 2 ltr to stay competitive against the Maverick R. And segways new supervillain, in which I may just purchase!.

I think the x3 is quieter than the expidition while recording inside as well!
2 spots on the roof rack at the rear tapped into reverse light 😊 you know it makes sense in the dark when reversing
Could even put them on a switch but would be cooler for them to come on when you select reverse

I had a commander open cab. Went for one ride in my friends enclosed cab heated general. Bought a soft cab enclosure and heater the next day lol. I will never buy a machine again without an enclosed cab and heat.
Nice heater... If you take your windshield off for the summer and don't pull it out, make a cover for the fan

@@gregpezan9631 Didn’t really even have much of a summer last year, didn’t get too many hot days. I would crack the windows and bottom of my windshield, would bring in a nice breeze. Kept it a lot cleaner and comfortable inside.

the amber is a backlight not an actual light. the idea is that when the light is not on the amber backlight automatically turns on rather than with a switch. wire the blue wire to a ignition power source for the intended use. I run DD on all my vehicles

Curious to know if you had that windshield on before installing the heater? Want to know if that will help with not fogging !

One major issue I can see with that is the second your motor gets wet, your cab is gonna be so fogged out you won’t be able to see a damn thing. Same thing happens with my defender 6x6 cab kit. Works great….until it doesn’t. Basically worthless in rainy conditions. Glad I dropped 10k to figure that out. At least that fan kit is a helluva lot cheaper than that.
Rammed right through puddles several times, no issues. Thought the same thing

Ya, that's my question... How much carbon monoxide is getting into the cab? Probably not a great idea overall
Believe it or not I haven't smelled any exhaust fumes. it just grabs the heat and brings just that into the cab
@@Jizden_Mipanz last I checked both intake and exhaust systems are supposed to be sealed 🤷
@@jasonspellich2440 yes, however by drawing air at high speeds from the rear of the car that already has a draft, you would be taking in the exhaust from the end of the system that is wide open so that the engine will run.

Dude, lose the Flexi rear window. Spike powersports has a better one that's cheaper and vented for the intercooler. Bent metal offroad for the front windshield. Sxsweride are try hards with little to no content.
