Flex-Band - Grade 2-3
Here's a stirring medley of marches from our American military. Includes: “The Marine's Hymn,” “The Caissons Go Rolling Along” and “Anchors Aweigh.”

HL04002594 - Hudba
This song is way more badass hearing and playing it in person. The percussion is so much more powerful and intense and the song just sounds more patriotic.
i agree, especially when your in the band hearing it all close up, it's amazing when you can just play and hear other people playing and feel it
I know it's so fun to play on band
As a percussionist I feel honored and yes it is EXTREMELY FUN being a percussionist because u learn 10 times faster than everyone else and u have the beat tempo and everything so yes it is better than the saxophones
We have rly good percussionists and i love hearing snare in the beginnings its AMAZING
Im in middle school we had to play this
We play this evey year for veterans day. Playing this is something ill never regret.
I play a clarinet. I'm a freshman and we had to play this for veterans day. I absolutely sucked at it
Nahh cause this might have been the only song(other than excelsior fanfare and March slav) I was good at 😭 and I'm in 8th
I feel you
The clarinet part was easy for me since 7th grade when we played this. Nobody in our band could play cut time b
@@Rocks_Edits_Animations I was only good at playing slower songs. I'm in 11th grade now but I'm not in band now so now all I do is play guitar at home sometimes when I'm bored
Im a 7th grade clarinet and i had to play this😂
I play the flute and my band played this for a competition and got gold with distinction so I like this song a lot
Playing this tomorrow for a parade and I am tweaking
We played these for a veterans day program at school and when we played the navy's song i thought of my great grandfather who served in the navy during WW2. He died back in 2017 from old age.
My grandfather died at 97 in 2019
I am in marching band and one of our football games this hear was litterly the day before 9/11 this year and in honor of 9/11 we added this song to part of our pregame show (or it was marches of the armed forces I cant remember) and they got someone who played bagpipes to play amazing grace and then we did like normally star spangled banner and did who run it when the football players came out. And our pregame is Georgia on My Mind and Can you feel it by the Jacksons, and do star spangled banner once we wait for colors to come on feild and once they leave the feild we get a click, click, click and go to out tunnel and do star spangled banner. But the dude who played bag pipes sounded really good and this was a fun thing to leearn and only have 1 or 2 weeks (cant remeber but I think it was the week of or the week before because we got it at one of our long practices which is a Tuesday and just practiced it those 2 days) to get it remembered but that was what we used to do a tribute to 9/11. Also I play clarinet (the best instrument other than front ensemble/pit they are called either on or six mainly tenor sax). But for whoever served for us thank you for your work.
We're u at the competition at Marshall University last year?
@@thatbitofmoss I was a freshman last year and am a sophomore this year so I have no clue but I only been to one competition from last season which was not that
I ain't reading all that 💀
@@thatbitofmoss the competitions we have been to is rebel regiment and this other one I can’t remember (one of them (I mix up I know which one if I remember the others name but it’s 2am right now) we got grand champion) this year and last year we only went to battle on the boarder and we got 6th place
@@Noelle-Holiday1 pretty much I said we played that song I disliked because it’s a tricky time sig and the tempo and rhythm does some weird stuff and like we played it for marching band for a tribute to 9/11 and we were only given it like a week ahead (by that I mean the week before we played it and we only have 3 practices 2 short, 1 long and the long one is the only one we have sectionals and truly work on music but still worked on show music)
Aw man I'm excited to do this in band this year
Off we go, into the off the paper, (WHERE’S THE AIR FORCE!!!)
and the pool pirates
coast guard 🥲
I have to do a 3 mile march with this song on Memorial Day parade both excited and scared cause I am a trumpet player
It's basically Marches of The Armed Forces but for flex-band, and no Air Force song. It has the same introduction and ending and everything.
Very Nice 👏👏👏
Show de bola essa marcha, viva as bandas de música.
We seem to be missing some
But does the Coast Guard really count? 😋 just kidding. Semper Paratus. 😭⚓️
There's also no air force
Where is coast guard
Air Force isn’t here either. My version of the music has both included
I'm using this as a reference track rn and I got so confused when they went to Anchors away insted of Semper Paratus and The U.S. Air Force Song--
bro i love being 1st clarinet on this song
I played this for red spenders day it's a parade where I live we had to march for it
We were supposed to play this in 8th grade for Veterans Day but corona year.
samee thooo legit dieing at the clarinet parts
Hey I played this in 6th grade!!
why did such a good song only get 8,000 views?
I have to have this down in 4 weeks so it is .75x speed for me
The horn parts I played in this were actually way different than in this video
Same
I will be on my death bed with this stuck in my head
Playing as an alto sax
I play this band arrengment on my flute
Where’s the Air Force
I'm pretty sure it's in there
Ya it’s here near the end ish
@@xpebblestarx7674 all of 2 bars
We seem to be missing someone 🧐
I played this in 8th grade for Veterans Day and I played trumpet 2
NO USAF & NO USGC? WTF !!!!!!
Who’s here because of their band teacher
It's good, but is better sped up on 1.25 speed. Trust me, I played it that quick on a 160 tempo in pearl harbor in 2019
How did you manage that 😮
