Thanks to the Legacy Collection, I can now make my way through the entire Battle Network series. So let’s start off right by playing the first Mega Man Battle Network! Being able to use charge shot on the fight against life virus is tied to the plot, you get an overall boost to the buster on that last stretch of game past magicman.
Ohhhh ok. I only asked because I noticed that he was the only time I had a charged shot, I didn't even have one against the random encounter I had right before him.
@@PrimeShiem at least it is what Lans father says when MegaMan is revived, that his power increases in exchange for Lan being able to feel his pain.

@@PrimeShiem no problem. And after all, MegaMan starts the next game already being able to use charge shots. So I always assumed it was due to that.
Despite suffering from first game syndrome, it was still a fun game. I played it a while after I had played 2-6. I thought Sharkman was the toughest boss in that game 😵💫.
Yeah, Sharkman might unironically be the toughest boss in the game, and I don't know how to think about that.

I just got the legacy collection for switch a month ago. Theae games are SO good. Ive played number 5 for 140 hours and still not completed the post game story. That's how much content these games have. Honestly the best rpg battle system of all time. The mario and luigi games are close behind but theres so much customization and different play styles that theres literally limitless options for strategy. The PVP community is really cool.
Dang, I heard these games had some good post game content, but that's honestly incredible for a GBA game. Also, yeah, I like virus busting a lot more than traditional RPG battle systems.
