- At the fans request, I removed the music track from the St Barts flybys.
Hope you enjoy this one more, and will follow my channel. There are a lot of great videos here.
I have been working in aviation video for 25 years and have been fortunate to capture some memorable shots.
On behalf of all of us who Like Planes with their Engine Sounds, thank you Mark.
Agreed!
Ban aviation music videos lol
This man deserves an Oscar for this
Sounds fake to me
@@hfhjfx Congratulations on publicly admitting your stupidity.
Now that’s music to my ears!
agree😀
Can believe you can only get this sounds in movies this days.
🎯🎯
Much rather hear the engine noise than someone’s idea of “appropriate” music-love it!
Mark understands what the people want
Thank you for listening to us all and removing that dreadful and completely inappropriate music - this is now a 'goosebumps' video, bloody perfect engine soundtrack.
That F7F Tigercat was pretty amazing.
Steve Hinton was flying it.
The Corsair was pretty wicked too.
@@michaelrunnels7660 No way! Really? Met him at Oshkosh years ago!
@badgerbait8351 there were two F7F’s flying - a silver one and a dark blue one - which one Steve Hinton was flying I’m not sure? It looks like him in the silver plane, but he usually flys the blue machine!
@michae which one? There’s two - silver machine first then the Navy Blue one which I think he normally flys!?! But it does look like him in the silver plane?
It never crossed my mind that St. Barts would be able to host an airshow with historic planes like these. Totally rad! 😃
That P 40 pass is the shit!
Cool isn't it?
It’s all the shit! Every single one of them!! Unbelievable!!!
Could hear that whistle sound not sure if that is the turbocharger, or some gunports on the wings making that noise.
@@Mike-01234 Supercharger you mean, I'm quite sure that would be it, since the gunport wheeze usually happens when the plane's flying at higher angles of attack.
@@Mike-01234 P-40 doesn't have a turbo. It was the supercharger or the reduction gear
Gone from bottom to top of my list without the music. Appreciate you taking on board our views and re-posting 👏
The sound of the engines and the slip stream noise is music to my ears. Thank you!
Agree😀
Oh, there's PLENTY of music-- the music of internal combustion.
It's call radial
@@lcfflc3887 "Called" Inlines provide good music too. Why limit yourself?
You imagine they navigated across oceans and found a little island, dropped a bomb, then navigated home to another small island all with out gps. You weren’t done working until you stepped out of the thing
Island? Imagine carrier based aircraft.
Best bloody flybys I've ever seen ! That was something ... sure wished I'd have been there to see this.
now that's an airshow! No vera lynn, no cosplayers, no stupid music or commentary, just ridiculously macho muscle planes beating up the runway! absolutely awesome!
The way it should be and NO talking from ground spectators, just the sweet sounds of the "round loud ones" in the words of a C47 pilot I knew. I'm very grateful.
Thank you for re-posting without music. It's awesome.
Nothing better than the sounds of the radial engines. Great video.
I love it that we could hear just the engines and NO music or crowd noise! It's great!
That F7F Tigercat sounds incredible.
@DeereX748 - two Tigercats - silver one first followed at the end of the video by a Navy Blue one, which I think is the one Steve Hinton usually flys!
Beautiful.
Crank hard!
Thank you for not playing Crazy Train through terrible speakers like they do at most air shows. We’re there for the planes, not production value so thank you.
The perfect soundtrack!
NOW there is a video that deserves e real THUMBS UP! Thank you a lot for posting!
This must have been incredible to witness in person.
AMAZING array of "rare" aircraft... wonderful display !
Ohhh, this was definitely music to my ears with my volume cranked!
Loved that tigercat
@steveward4509 - there were two Tigercats! - 1 silver and 1 dark blue!
Spectacular! MUCH better without the music! Thank you!!
Thank you for no music, the engines are the music, thank you!!
The roar of the radial never will be out of style!! The skill of these pilots is amazing as well they make it look like a low pass is NO problem. Lots of briefing and prep!
Now THIS is more like it! See? You can be taught! Thank you so much for removing the amateurish production attempt. This is FAR more appealing. Yay!
Thanks for reposting! There’s only one soundtrack you need for these amazing aircraft.
Glorious sounds! These magnificent old birds were state of the art in their day. ❤
The sound of Liberty to the rescue.
That's beautiful music! Big aero engines are a symphony!
Man that Zero just zips along so quick
is that a real zero? i mean it probably is , but wow thats a rare beast.
I wish, when I was 20, that I had had more appreciation for what I saw at my first airshow. It was 1987 and it was the High On Kalamazoo airshow. They did a flight of all the Grumman "cats." The F-14 was straining to stay in formation with the rest of them and was at the height of its popularity. It's only in the last 18 years (since the Tomcat was retired) that I really have a true appreciation of what I saw.
And just think, LeRoy Randle Grumman was a USN Lieutenant who was talked in to resigning his commission by aircraft manufacturer Grover Loening and going to work for Loening. That 'LeRoy' is how Grover Loening spells the name in his 1968 book Takeoff Into Greatness. It is worth reading.
Awesome 👍
Thank you for not ruining this great video with music.
The sound of those radials is the only music needed.. ❤
Tiger Cat…what wonderful music.
@christopher - 2 x Tigercats - 1 silver and 1 Navy Blue
Those Tigercats are amazing!!
Thank you Mark for the reposting without music 🎶 ,what a fantastic video 😁👍🇮🇪🙏
Glad you enjoyed it
OMG! it had to be an amazing experience to see such an aeroplanes flying on such an airport! I wish to be there 😢
There is no finer sound than that of an old radial engine.
or Merlin....
@sawyersd - Allison V12 sounds very much like a Merlin!
I didn’t watch the video with music, but this is music..amazing sounds 👍🙂
Needs to be played at full volume 👍😁
Great !!! Thank you for having removed the music so that we can now enjoy the fantastic engine sounds !!!
Wow!!!!!! So much better!!!!!!! That tbm and p40 were low low!! Didn't get that far with the music one but watched all the way thru with the real symphony....ty ty ty👍
Tigercat! Awesome show!
@BD-qq4fn 2 x Tigercats - 1 silver and then 1 x Navy Blue that ends the video!
Thankyou Mark. No music !
Love the shot the camera man took from the wing of the B-25. Truly, the camera man never dies 😂. One heck of a seat he had. All beautiful aircraft may they forever fly.❤
100% better, lesson learnt.
Those pilots are having FUN!
All of them sound amazing, but there's just something special about the supercharged V engines...
Thanks for re-posting.
Excellent video!
What a magnificent concept - fly boys with natural sounds.
Great video. I pumped up my Klipsch sound system subs till my windows rattled🛩
Plenty of air-cooled radial music here
The sound those Mitchells and tiger cats made was something else.
It was great to see this and hear the engine sounds.
From me in the UK....thank you.❤
Who needs music when you have That sound track!😊
Awesome sounds. Thank you!
Givin me goosebumps, AWESOME!
I absolutely love the music you chose, and the rest should use the same 'music'. Seriously. Everybody knows that aviation videos only require the exhaust and props slappin' the air, for it to be audibly delicious!
Four and a half minutes of pure awesomeness (and beautiful landscape).
Thanks for letting us enjoy the original sound without music. Love the wingtip camera on the Mitchell.
Love the Avenger sound !
@Prifly70 I think he got some more speed coming down the hill!! Very impressive for an Avenger - low and fast!
Agree. TBF Avenger passed at such a great speed, for a moment I thought it was a F6F Hellcat...
B25... Avenger.. P40.. Corsaire..... OMG !!!!
THIS is the music soundtrack we wanted to hear. :)
Woooo Hoooo!!! Very nice, thanks for sharing.
So simple.
So Spectacular!
Incredible…
Thanks 👍🏴
Job well done Mark 👍
A video with the roaring sound of any type of engine should never be destroyd with disturbing muzak!
I know we all love the sound of a Merlin but, man, radials are just something else! That B-25 sounds incredible.
One word : outstanding! The noise of that Merlin engine was amazing.
There were no Merlins used in the making of this film.. 😎
The only non radial in this lineup was in the P-40 and it was powered by an Allison V12.
Only If That's A P-40F & I Can't Tell. Even Then It Would've Been A Packard Built Merlin Under License & There Weren't That Many Compared To Other Models.
@@thewatcher5271 The P-40F didn’t have an air intake above the spinner.
carburettor scoop behind spinner on top of cowling = Allison.
Mmmmmm.........Round engines...............❤
Excellent++ video!
Awesome, those are the only sounds you need to be hearing.
So much fun to watch (and listen to)
This….This was really amazing, a Zero, a TBF Avenger and a F7F Tigercat are just rare sights at any airshows, having these and the other classics low passing the Saint Bart runway, was epic!
I was just thinking that the terrific sounds of these "Warbirds", as much as we love to hear them, were, at one time, a harbinger of death to tens of thousands of people "on the other side" who were unfortunate enough to hear their approach or passing...
The sound of those piston engines legendary for me old school the best 💥💥💥💥💥💥
Who needs music, when you have the "music" of big radials and a V12, thanks for posting this.
There it is! Great footage and sound👍
I just have to keep watching it over and over, beautiful, great job.
I wonder where the pilots attended the air show briefing because it certainly wasn't anywhere near that famous runway. Which ones of those beautiful birds could have landed and departed there not to mention the risk of bending those rare crafts. As a lifelong professional photographer, a pilot and the owner of three aircraft none younger than 1947, I was hired to photograph the cockpits of some very rare aircraft from WW1 through the Korean War. Once such was a P-47. Its massive cockpit swallowed my rather short 5'4"frame. One of the placards read," Make no turns under 130 mph." The torque of those monster engines would over power the flight controls. I expect what ever limits on speed were waved to the joy of these pilots. This is the finest parade of planes I've ever seen including Oshkosh.
Thank you the WWII planes and sounds are romantic! I've heard them many times live including this year.
Stunning!
Thanks for posting 👌
Absolutely fantastic..great to see these planes all together. Agree no music is necessary..just the sound of those engines and props doing what they were designed to do...beautiful!!
Takes my breath away! Beautiful sounds!
I lost a family relative who served on B-25s. He was a radio operator based at an airfield near Calcutta (Chakulia?) in 1943. His plane went down from IJN AA fire as they were bombing Japanese merchant shipping in the Bay of Bengal.
Started watching this on my phone, inadequate sound so on with the tv and crank the volume up! 👌
Wow! That was a cool video of those old warbird's. I love watching those old warbird's from the past!
When I saw the " (with no music)" part of the headline, I clicked right away !
Pure radial symphony to the ears!
One of the best airshow videos I’ve seen. Engine sounds are all we need.
Absolutely awesome, we get to hear what we are watching ..
Awesome! I'm going to send this to my daughter who is an Airforce Academy Grad.😊
Glorious!
I love the sound of those old piston engines! Thanks great video!
Nice with the natural sounds.
Sounds as great as it looks. Thank you!
Thanks for the pure sound this time! 👍
Fantastic video clip love warbird airplane piston engine music in such a unique setting.👍👍🏁🏁
coolest airport i've ever been in. Those are some of the best low flybys ever seen. Well done thank you for letting the engines speak.
Fan-tastic music. What a show!
Beautiful to watch and hear thankyou from Australia.
