@@callang9 lmao the 760e shift so slow it hilarious and ISF has fastest quarter mile time, its a faster 0-100 the a760e was not made for higher power performance application all tundra guys know it cant handle more than 450+ torque to the wheels without upgrades while the AA80E has been proven in RR racings ISF running 725hp for years with zero upgrades 👍
@@HumbledGod My comment still stands. Why do you think the 2IS350 has a better dig than the more powerful IS-F? I can agree with it shifting *a touch* quicker, but that doesn't matter pretty much at all considering the IS-F requires 2 shifts to 60, vs 1 shift to 60 in the 2IS, and so on. It doesn't shift THAT much faster. I disagree on the power comments tho... since you mention RR... the RR 530 SC puts out 500whp on a stock A760E... Anyway, how many people do you know pushing more than 600chp in a Lexus, modded or stock? The 8spd switch was for fuel economy and comfort, and because Lexus wanted to be first to implement (LS460=first 8spd ever) Note how many toyotas that had in a 6spd lost some acceleration when they went to 8spd even with a power upgrade, but increased fuel economy, like the IS350 or Camry V6, two cars where you'd expect fuel economy to be sacrificed for power. If we're being honest, a 6spd manual would've been ideal.
@@xCkillaxC well no doubt the V8 IS-F is slapping the IS350 mid and top end, but look up races between 2IS350 & IS-F. 2IS350 keeps up until ~50mph with a worse power to weight ratio. Either or, a 6spd manual for the IS-F would've slapped both the 8&6spd automatics
@@callang9 bro you sound lost, drop the is350 diff in the ISF and the ISF is flying away from that 2IS350 from a dig. Dropping a 6 speed manual in the ISF is the dumbest thing you can do because the 8 speed auto is lightning fast
@@callang9 That's an incredibly stupid comment lol the IS F's transmission shifts much quicker. The only reason the 350 isn't blown away from a dig is because of the gearing not the transmission. It sacrifices mid and top end for more aggressive low gears.
Yeah that transmission was amazing for the year it was in. Too bad the transmissions are so slow now for the RCF and stuff like that. Damn Lexus should get back to making these cars.
bruhhh that transmission is deadly for the age
Aisin 8 speed, not ASIAN* lol
tbh the 6spd A760E probably would've been better 0-100.
Just look at the 2IS vs 3IS.
Or look at the 2IS vs ISF

@@callang9 no that’s due to the differential gearing in the is350. 2nd gen is350 gets slapped in the mid and top end all day.

Awesome
I’d like to know what has been done to the car. That’s a great launch!
Concrete surface just hooks up good. The car has intake, headers, and exhaust.
