Excellent use of money guys, I loved watching Living Traditions do this same job. REALLY opened up the place. We have a lot of goats, and while I’d say fencing really isn’t hard and we really have no issues with them, I’d still go the $1500 route, to get done faster and the mulch. Can’t wait to see it! This will jump start y’all!

We rented a mulcher for Fri -Mon for $2500 from CAT in the Winchester va area. The mulch laid down helped keep the soil from sliding off def. The 1 prob with the mulcher is it’s really not made for trees larger than 6” ish and anything wider than 4” slows it way down. We thought we’d do 3 acres of thick cedars in 3 ish days but really we cleared about 1 acre total, running the machine 8-10 hours/day. Our forest was DENSE and the avg tree was 4” prob. Anyways it was worth it but if we do it again I’ll have more realistic expectations. Sonny had a BLAST running it. Watch the dips, the machine is seriously front end heavy for obv reasons.

I spent $700 for 4 hours of forestry mulcher work. I got my fence lines cleared out and along my driveway. The best $700 I have ever spent. He did in 30 seconds what would have taken me all day!
Honestly, we feel the same! A dramatic difference in landscape and so much productivity for us to make the most of our spring!

We had a similar tractor come in and clear blackberry bushes and shrubs from our property. It was fabulous!! Well worth the money. Then we could move our animals onto the areas and keep it ate off.

Just a side not, Dave Ramsey also says that unless your buying a $300k framed/concrete foundation home your wasting your money. The guy is kind of “classist” not promoting people with different dreams of success. He has some great tools but he’s also got a lot more flaws than I care for.
Thank you Paul, correct. I do agree with you. Dave is THE BEST for getting out of debt, and budgeting. But after that I am not sure how much I align with his financial views.

Hey Brothertons! Love the videos and your family, but I have a question.... have you all considered changing the ‘CZcams’ classification of your channel? Back when they made everyone decide whether or not their channels had content for kids or for adults, they didn’t tell everyone that kids channels (which I think you all chose) won’t send out notifications. I really love watching your journey in the order you release the videos, but CZcams says that your channel won’t send notifications even to its subscribers! Has anyone else asked you about this?
