The positive vibes in the beginning if your posts always is a plus, esp6for those of us who are caregivers of parents with dementia, every little bit if positivity helps. Bough is the main branch of a tree. A bougher is someone who makes and sells bows and arrow shafts only, but they do not "fletch" the arrows (placing the feathers at the none pointy end lol) that's a fletcher and a very intricate skill. A bough-smith specifically makes weapons but does not sell them. They also make or mend all wooden parts to weapons like the shaft of an axe, morning star etc.

On his page on HH it says, "This warrior is an elite Weaponsmith, although he’s famously known as the Boughsmith, as he infuses bark from the tree’s of Mistwood into his weaponry."
So he must be from the Elden Ring world, those are the only search results for mist wood.
Hi Ash. Can you make a guide for Karam? That guy got 2 buffs in the past but question is was it enough. Got a 5 star soul for him but dont know if he is worth building with its 50% less damage to a boss at his A3 :/

Bough is a French term meaning he makes curved things, most likely used for men who make curved or arched structures. There was an offshoot called a boughiar, meaning a person who bends or forms wooden things. Many of us who takes like a branch and straightens them out, much the British fletcher, though a fletcher are named after the fetches. Though neither is actually what they're named, technically they make arrows, so I boughsmith is a play on this.
A "bough" is also another word for a branch as in the nursery rhyme "Rock a bye baby".
The word can be traced through both middle and old English and probably is Saxon in origin.

Ash this is a guide OK you are showing your friends account but its not really a guide you are telling us how your friend built him rather than giving a guide or advising on how you might recommend to build him. even the masteries you just showed someone elses build. (unusual you normally cover all that stuff)
