It's probably one of the best storylines from Hollyoaks in a long, long time. This storyline changed a lot of ppl's opinions of the character of Misbah seeing her being strong and defiant against the injustices of Ali. The actress who plays Misbah knocked this out of the park.

This was a brilliant scene, I am so overjoyed that misbah finally got justice for what Ali did to her as well as the other doctors/nurses at the hospital! Finally she and her family can have peace without Ali dawning on them. And I must say she through a good punch at him! Outstanding!

I'M NOT CRYING I SWEAR😭😭😭😭 this was just so powerful, a powerful story overall but particularly the ending and Harvey Virdi is just a super talented actor and eventhough Ali wasn't charged 'officially' he did lose
For me it’s the breath she lets out at the end. After all these years she can finally breath again knowing her truth has been told and he can’t control her life anymore ❤️

@@awesomesauce2000 OA I know the feeling I finally told Mother about me being raped when I was 7 Years old but she never did anything about it and after Gram and Gramps took the three of us in from a Foster Shelter I never saw him again or got justice for him raping me and the same thing happened to my Boyfriend Addison when he was 7 by one of his Great Uncle’s at a party but his Great Uncle also got caught raping a Female who was a Child by his Parents as well and they both got justice for what happened to them on the positive side. ☺️

Misbahs story has both prepared me for how court will be and the absolute injustice it truly can be. I have dealt with my R case for the past 2 years where I found out on Friday it had been dropped and the man walked free. I wish so dearly I got my chance to tell him how i felt and tell others what he did to me. I will always thank hollyoaks for giving such a true and realistic approach to this horrifying subject.
Jessica OA I’m so sorry that happened to you I love Hollyoaks and even though this storyline here brought me back to my dark Childhood I know how it feels to be raped. Cause it happened to me when I was 7 Years old by a 12 and 1/2 Year old Male I never told Mother about it cause the way she treated our Daddy/Lindsey’s Step-Daddy, our older Half-Sister Lindsey and I like punching bags but she didn’t to my 1 Year and 1/2 full blood related little Sister Macey. I only told Lindsey about what he did to me and she wasn’t happy about it and she too never told Mother about it either but when I finally told Mother she didn’t even do anything about it after Gram and Gramps took all 3 of us in from a Foster Shelter I never saw him again which probably means I never got justice for what he did to me. Did you end up getting pregnant by your rapist btw???? 🤔

Phenomenal post, it sent chills up my spine. The actress that portrays Misbah Malick is excellent. She spoke eloquent and unapologetic. What a performance by this actress. This rape and manipulation scenario happens everyday to women and girls. So glad the writers finally give Misbah her closure or kinda closer, cuz this never goes away we just go on & live.

I have got to say that this was the best scene I have ever watched. I was smiling the whole way through and I hope women who have had this kind of horrid abuse happen to them get justice because no women should have to live in constant fear that their attacker is still lurking out there and doing this to other women. Thank God that Misbah finally got her justice and what she said at the end of that scene was very powerful.

Great storyline but the music, the extra quotes and captions on the thumbnail of the video for me in my opinion it puts me off. I think this is a great story line that sends a great message without no extra captions to advertise the video and they can have music but for me less music because when we can see the moment of the video when Misbah gives Ali what he deserves you’ve got “Glory!!!” voluming over moment of truth and revenge

I don’t know how old you are now… but every 7 years the body is completely renewed. If you’re older than 14, you have a body that that pathetic excuse of a man has never touched.
