He developed his own school of sword fighting, which, you guessed it, involved wielding two blades at the same time, something considered to be pretty unorthodox. He also wrote a book about combat which nowadays is more seen as life and marketing advice iirc.
Now, take all of this with a grain of salt, it's been a while since I read up on him, but as far as I can recall that's the general gist of it.
