    I dont understand why people are so up in arms over an interview? Putin gave an interview, believe what he said or not. We have really reached a point where politicians say openly who can speak, what they can say, and when they can say it. Also the editing of this video is dishonest that is not how or where the interview ended. I know because I actually watched it.

    • @user-bx2tj9xw9d
      @user-bx2tj9xw9d Před 6 měsíci +5

      Same here! The clips they showed were misleading and we must take everything with a grain of salt. As a non-american person it is incredibly weird to see americans overly obsessed with freedom of speech and yet shut down another narative. I couldn't help but notice that in this whole video they did not make a single counter-argument, they've just atacked the fact of the interview being made. It is sad, because people start to lose trust and do a complete one-eighty instead of reason it out. It is either accept one whole narative or the other.

Up until now there has been the uproar and screaming about inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia on the battlefield. Now they are apparently coming to realize that it is difficult to achieve, if possible at all. In my opinion, it is impossible by definition, it is never going to happen. It seems to me that now those who are in power in the West have come to realize this as well. If so, if the realization has set in, they have to think what to do next. I find it both heartening and reassuring that the conversation isn't confined to what's presented in mainstream media when I observe the reactions of people online to the coverage of Tucker's interview. It's striking how all mainstream media seem to align on one side, attempting to shape a particular narrative, while online discussions reveal a different perspective. Those who appreciated the interview are being indiscriminately labeled as far-right extremists, which is quite revealing of the media's agenda and the disconnect between their portrayal and public sentiment.

    I got the pleasure of meeting and speaking with Mr. Carlson, when he dined in at a place i was working at, a lot of people that worked there wanted to see him and get his autograph, and the manager asked if that would be alright, and Mr. Carlson said it would be okay. A great real person. My dad's a huge fan of him and i got an aurograph for him. It meant the world to my dad for me to get his autograph. He's not a celebrity who says no to his fans all the time, so busy and doing so much important stuff and he was kind enough to sign stuff and talk to us personally. He's not a mean person or dishonest in what he does, i believe he truly means what he says, and that is rare, unlike how the media makes him out to be.

      Mr. Tucker Carlson is an honest man. During the interview, he asked direct questions and these were pointed questions. The President of Russia found the time and told him almost the entire situation, including even parts of the negotiations that he conducted with other world leaders of big politics. Putin spoke frankly about how his country really is viewed overseas. A policy of sanctions and pressure is applied to him. It was Russia that tried all these years to agree on peace, but it was Russia that they wanted to deal with quickly. This is where the planned coup in Ukraine comes from. It was simply used against Russia.

Russians and Ukrainians in the past were one people, but now, after the coup d'etat, in power in Ukraine there are people who are hostile to Russia and discriminate against Russian people in Ukraine, Russia does not like this and this is one of the reasons for the conflict. The second reason for the conflict is relations with the United States and the West, Putin says that Russia voluntarily dissolved the Soviet Union and wanted to be part of the “Western civilized family,” but Russia was not accepted, was constantly deceived and was hostile to Russia, from a broken promise not to expand NATO to coup d'etat in Ukraine. Putin says he was constantly deceived. Despite this, Putin is ready for negotiations subject to certain Russian conditions for the security of Russia and the Russian people, but Ukraine and the West are now against negotiations.
