This is absolutely awful for patients. Expect them to be feel numb in some spots and then have EXTREMELY painful spots. Skin breakdown happens FAST so be sure to turn these patients a LOT because they literally cannot feel if they're on anything while feeling like they're laying on a cactus. Unfortunately this can be lifelong and/or happen more than once. And the more it happens the worst and faster the symptoms onset.
