Jeremy Pinnell, one of The Queen City's favorite singer-songwriters performs his new song, "Feel This Right," in an old horse barn in Boone County, KY with honky tonk band The 55s. The video was produced, recorded, mixed and mastered by Cameron Cochran and shot in one take by Michael Wilson.
"We used an open mic technique where the band had to play to the volume of Jeremy's voice and guitar without monitors for sound reinforcement. The result is one of the most beautiful recordings I have ever been a part of.
When I walked into the barn and shouted, and listened to the way the sound resonated off the dirt floor and the old wooden siding, I had a feeling something amazing was going to be captured. The light was perfect, the day was perfect, the band was in good spirits, the song was great, we had someone with an amazing eye looking through a camera...all we had to do was get out of the way of what was about to happen, and that was exactly what we did."

One of the things I love about this tune are the lines about his hometown. This song is country to the bone, but those lines are straight hiphop.

Great song, great performance, and the old open air barn is awesome! Jeremy needs to redo a few songs. I see this song is from 2015. I found Jeremy only because someone posted his name in the comments of similar music. I look for music like this everyday on CZcams. Jeremy has never come up in my feed or my searches over the past several years. I've learned to look for suggestions in the comments. I have no idea how to make money on CZcams, but I have to believe Jeremy can do better than he's doing in this regard.
