  • I want to start off by saying that I’m not an expert in any way, so if you’re ever worried about a purchase you’ve made being authentic, you should consider getting it professionally authenticated! These tips are based off of my observations from purchasing various Le Pliage pieces from Longchamp over the years as well as information I’ve read along the way online.
I find Le Pliage bags can be difficult to follow with all of their changes throughout the years as well as the different types of lines they release and then discontinue. Hopefully this video is helpful though and if you have any tips that you want to share, please add them in the comment section!
*Editing Joanne: It’s ironic that I talk about the uniformity of the stitching, but on my newest Longchamp, the orange pouch with handle you see for a lot of this video, the stitching on the tabs where the leather closes on the zipper is definitely not the best! I purchased this directly off of the Longchamp website, and it’s honestly the lowest quality out of everything else I have from the brand ☹

Hello, I have a question. I bought this pouch on vinted, however I noticed that it came with plastic wrap around the handle. I think that almost all the unboxing videos that I saw didnt have plastic wrap on the handle. Do you think the bag I bought is fake?

I wouldn't say that makes it a fake just because of the plastic wrap! I find a lot of bags (brands in general) come with a lot of plastic wrap, and you just don't see it because they often take it off before giving it to customers. I'd see if there's any way to get it authenticated if you're really unsure about it!

I bought two bags from an online page where she said she gets them from Longchamp Malaysia, and inserts an invoice with it. the invoice had Longchamp outlet on it. I was checking my bag and the only actual difference I found is that I had no (54) on my zipper on one bag (le pliage pink)
and the other I had only 5 (it’s supposed to be Denim Dasy pouch)
I feel disappointed after getting it , I actually paid 100$ for it 😕 if I knew before all of this your channel I would have never bought from an online page. I usually never liked buying bags from online pages I don’t know what really made me do it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Oh no!! Do you have a longchamp or outlet anywhere near you? The daisy pouch is a more recent release, and I wonder if you could look at one from the store and compare!

@@jaekyl well the actual problem is that my country has no official longchamp stores or even outlets that’s why I had to get it online 😕

I don’t know if I was dumbed or I am dumb enough 😂 but she took a picture of the reference code in the bag and made me check it and it actually was right
Or maybe I don’t really have enough knowledge about these things to check !
