- In this video, I'll show you how to play several baritone ukulele chords with just one finger. If you're just starting out, learning a new instrument can be very overwhelming! I hope the first section of this video encourages you and shows you that no matter what your skill level is, you CAN play baritone! If you practice a little bit each day, I promise that your fingers will get stronger and your transitions will get faster. Everyone learns at a different pace, but EVERYONE can learn to play baritone ukulele.
After that, at 3:34, I'll walk you through some "color chords" or chords that don't fit a super strict definition, but add beautiful color in a variety of contexts. I hope this section of the video will encourage players of all skill levels to experiment and find new sounds, even if you think you know all the chords!
Today's video is played on my Lanikai acacia baritone. The flame maple baritone I usually play lost a string the other week :( and the spruce top was... honestly just downstairs, so I took the opportunity to play my newest uke!
You can purchase chord diagrams for this video at www.abigailflowersmusic.com/pdf-downloads (there are several free downloads and for-purchase arrangements there as well!), or e-mail me at contact@abigailflowersmusic.com to schedule a one on one lesson.

Beautiful and interesting chords! Can't wait to try them, thank you!
abagail, you are indeed the queen of the baritone guitar. perhaps you could put some of these suave chords together into a song lead sheet.

Why the hell they call it a baritone ukulele it is not a ukulele. It is a half a guitar
Because of it having 4 strings.
