Very well done! I really love these cameras, when aligned and used properly they are excellent picture takers. I'm glad to see that you figured out to bring the screw to the hole using the magnetic screwdriver, rather than trying to place it in the hole and then bringing the screwdriver to it... that always seems to yank the screw out of the hole or misalign it! One other thing to know, one needs to make sure that the aperture is wide open on the lens when adjusting for infinity, in this case, f3.5. Lastly, a locking cable release is a big help to keep the shutter open in bulb mode when doing the ground glass alignment. Keep up the fine work!
this is probably the most complex procedure while overhauling a C3. otherwise a very simple camera that produces outstanding images. i may make a video on rangefinder calibration in the future.
I may have to assemble, re-assemble... and once more ... BUT, this looks like a doable project. My C-3 needs cleaning and lube. Then we'll be ready for some work... well, fun.
I just purchased one of these on a whim at an antique store. From my very basic knowledge and research I don’t think it will advance the film. I have no idea how to begin to even know what’s wrong with it. Can you repair this? I can’t find anyone that will I would love to get it working and add it to my regular rotation. Thanks!
@@WayneKnight_Rider thank you for responding! yes I have I have also watched countless videos. It doesn’t seem to catch the advance and move the dial indicator.

I have an Argus C3 that I've been meaning to study and overhaul. Thanks for this!

Thanks for your message. Have you read the user manual? The film advance is a 2 step process.
