- Isle of innisfree is arguably the most well known ferry operating between the ports of Dover and Calais, having operated for:
DFDS as Calais Seaways,
P&O Ferries as Pride of Aquitaine,
P&O Stena Line as posl Aquitaine,
Stena Line as Stena Royal,
LD Lines as Norman Spirit & Ostend Spirit Ostend Lines as Prins Filip.
Over the decades Isle of Innisfree has operated from Dover to Boulogne, Calais, Dunkerque, Ostend and Zeebrugge!
All facilities other than the bar and Club Class Lounge can be found on a single deck meaning navigation is easy.
A walkabout tour of both Isle of Innisfree and her operating sister Isle of Inishmore can be found in the Irish Ferries playlist.

Aww Inishmore ❤❤
Looks great!! Always had good experience on the Inishmore as well. Parents travelled over on Blue Star one last week, very disappointed, said they would never travel again on it.
Hi Peter. Thanks for watching! Sorry to hear about poor experience aboard BS1
At over 30 years old she’s a remarkable ship still pulling her weight after all this time
Hi Josh. Thanks for watching my video! A blog showing her interior over the past 30yrs can be found on my website www.a2bviasea.co.uk
Enjoy!
Sounds like she’s heading for the Irish Sea. 🎉❤
Maybe. I recall when Stena Line looked at her decades ago to operate from Fishguard. Makes sence as she was built for 4hr crossing, though now she has no cabins for pax
@@A2BviaSeaonTV ah yeah.
Rumour is IF taking Spirit of Britain - doesn’t sound like they’ll let us have Inishmore back. 🥲
In fairness she's spotless. Was very disappointed with Blue Star 1 last week. Lovely crew .
Hi Gavin. Thanks for watching!
Very good
Hi Jack. Thanks for watching!
@@A2BviaSeaonTV its ok keep up the good work
Does anyone know if all the ferries operated by Irish Ferries from Dover to Calais are drive on-drive off?
Hello Lawrence. Thanks for watching!
Yes, all Dover to Calais and Dunkerque ferries with Irish Ferries, P&O and DFDS are drive on/drive off.

@A2BviaSeaonTV Thank you, that's great, I've booked a ferry at the end of May with Irish ferries & that helps me a lot 😀 👍
@@honestloz if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask me. A blog can be found at www.a2bviasea.co.uk

Why are Irish ferries registered and flagged in Cyprus?
Thanks for watching! It is known as a flag of convenience

@@A2BviaSeaonTV Yeah. I am familiar with FoC. But the ferries should be Irish.
Just thought I’d take another look at this - no prizes for guessing why. 😂⛴️😎
Lol. Yeah, my money is that Innisfree will go to Pembroke and keep Inishmore, Inisheer and Spirit at Dover owing to higher freight capacity.
