Thanks for the shoutout mate, I’m watching the video and great stuff so far. It’s really detailed. Crotch punch is a better version of duck strike in general, but duck strike leaves you closer to the enemy to follow up and interrupts grab attempts from the enemy. You can parry any move while using hook intercept without taking damage, it’s not practical I agree, especially in master. If mastered I believe it to be one of the best moves as you can always counterattack with it. Flowing claw is just a brain dead move, too strong. I’m considering updating those old videos of mine. Great analysis!
I think I'm gonna try to play the game first without watching a video like this but if I end up getting stumped I'll come back and watch it. At the very least I'll watch it once I finish the game.
That's the first thing that came to mind lol I haven't play SIFU yet but considering how much praise it got at launch I get the impression it isn't as hard to approach as Bayonetta 1 or TW101 (though it's obviously still meant to be difficult).
This video doesn't particularly Apply to me however I still Enjoyed watching it it's a great guide for the beginners/ Intermediate Players Also I agree with you this game is underrated I think that's because it's kind of a short game I feel like it should have been at least 10 levels Great video definitely dropping a like on it
So happy you put this together! I think the biggest thing holding this game back from being shared is the lack of a solid training experience. Watching now and hope to see more people on the journey to Wude.
It’s great you made a vid like this and I hope it helps more people get into Sifu, but I wish it was much more concise for new players, Matthewmatosis’ vids are only an hour long and cover all of the important stuff, for deeper and longer games. Still, great stuff overall and thanks for making it
I feel bad, I dismissed this game at launch because of how people compared it to the batman Arkham games and some review from like Polygon or something about Sifu that said Devil May Cry is stupid.

Not a bad idea. I've put a few hours in on Sifu and think the couple hours here will save you many more if you think you're going for Prodigal Child

finally finished the game. i still suck ass, but after watching your guide i could atleast see what my mistakes were, when i fucked up.
like i didn't even realize you could block with your feet or recognize the tell of super dizzies etc.
