  • The ultimate ceremonial feast in Kashmir is known as 'wazwaan 'and consists of mostly meat-based dishes.
    The liberal use of spices like cinnamon, cardamom and cloves adds warmth and comfort to Kashmiri curries. Kashmiri food also favours the generous use of desi ghee which makes our food extremely rich. Curd is used as one of the primary ingredients in curries.
    So to give you a taste of authentic Kashmiri foods, I hand-picked this recipe from my glorious kitchen, recipes for diwali

    We call it " Drin " in Tarami plate it is the very first item of Waazwan followed with 2 big kebabs , 2 fried chickens , tabak - maaz , laabi kebab and then Drin ( lamb - leg piece ) with mith - maaz and ........ Then comes mutton rogan josh , mutton aab gosh , mutton yakni , paneer in red gravy , mushroom and liver gravy , then 4 ristas and its gravy and each sizes of rista is of lemon size and then atlast Gushtaba the father of rista one big flavoured meat ball and its size is of orange fruit or sweet lime fruit each and it is served only at last and we cut it into 4 pieces and then have it all 4 of us and the Waazwan ends . Man !!!!!! " Waazwaan " is Heaven ........ ❤💘💝💖💗💓........

    Nice recipe dear...........👍👍. I will try with nadru , mushroom , baby fried potatoes , bcoz i m vegetarian .i will also add saffron and kashmiri garam masala .ohhh yeah aapki voice bahut pyaari hai ..........👍👍
