"I live in a townhouse and.. crumpet lives there too and he sleeps on the couch and hes a labourer so he comes home and hes tired and throws his bags down. And he'll take his shirt off and lay down on the couch and ill get him... drinks" HAHAHA i love Mr G
“I mean he’s still with me to be honest…it’s embarrassing to say but he’s still around” hahahaha This man has brought me more joy than anyone in the world and I thank the Lord Jesus for creating him.
Actually it's sorta sad... cause this 30-something year old man - lives in a two-bedroom townhouse with his dog and has to have an imaginary friend still who has obviously grown up with him and is now Mr G.'s love of sorts. I mean I know it's funny - but Chris Lilley is so clever that he's added that other dimension to this character.
Thankyou, you managed to sum up my ramblings better. Pathos... that's the word. Very true about Jonah. I think Mr G. would be second and Ja'mie I think has the least.
I never had an imaginary friend as a child but if ever I felt bored/needed a chat when the others were out; I’d sometimes send random faxes - usually drawings to numbers in Dad’s diaries and then wait for the return call from a haulage company wondering why Dad sent them a picture of a tree/dog.
