How to Roll Perfect Military Socks

  • Roll socks like a pro!
I remember in basic training, there were four or five people who knew how to roll/fold each inspectable item. So you'd drop off your clothes at each station (and work at a station yourself) and everyone's clothes would be rolled/folded perfectly. Just another hint for BMT!

And I thought I stressed about socks!😂 I just finished matching and stacking up the socks of my 6 babies! Now I'm working on my husband's and I remembered how my brother organized his socks so I searched for this video. Next, it'll be how to fold the t-shirts.

Thank you so much for this. I am in the process of training and losing weight to enlist. I'm not there yet but I'm learning as MUCH as I can BEFORE going so that I do things somewhat correct in BMT. I have a long way to go so I have plenty of time to practice. :) You have inspired me to start folding all my clothes like the Air Force ^^

Spectacular!! I have 100 pairs of socks for daytime and another 20 for night time. Inside the house, outside the house. Summer and colder times (I live in Southern California, winter is 3 days, fall lasts a week and spring is most of the time when it isn't summer.) My socks fill an entire drawer. With this technique I can make better use of extra space. Thank you very much! ☺️🤗

You can lay the socks on top of each other 🧦 (just like the emoji) and roll them in line. It’s a bit lumpier but faster and easier with older socks.
