It is so encouraging, and inspiring, to listen to his interviews. This one, I will definitely come back to when I need to be encouraged on my journey as an artist. I grew up here. It was rare that E. Texas got someone of his talent and graciousness to work with the students and Broadway wannabees there. Where ever you are, Ramin, a hat tip to you! Hope to see you live someday soon.
I don't think he feels any negativity towards the song or the show at all; however, he's said in interviews that singing TIHYS was a bit hard for him because it hit so close to home. My personal belief is that he's stopped singing it so he has time for emotional healing before he sings it again.
