    Best of luck to you two in Germany. I was born and raised 30 minutes from Frankfurt and have been living near Charlotte for the last 20 years now. I would love to know where you’re moving to in Germany or did you mention it in one of your videos ?
    I’ve been wanting to go back now for over 10 years, maybe one day. But I’m happy that you two get this opportunity. Germany is such a beautiful place !!!

    So excited for you guys!!! Yay!! I can't believe the date is so close now!? I remember the excitement and fears I still had mixed emotions too when I was moving to England for the first time ever without my family and flew over by myself from America as my husband is British and I met him in Switzerland, we got married in Arizona and he had to fly back to England before I got there to be with him AND I was worried about my visa not coming through on time! Lol but thank GOD it did and I then moved and lived there for 8 years. WOW... So hard to believe sometimes now that we have both moved back to America I am addicted to the UK, Ireland and Europe now you will think I am seriously crazy, but want to move back there again! Lol..
    So congrats to you both on this exciting journey! I will warn there will be culture shock as that is a real thing, but I think since your parents are there it will make the adjustment sooo much easier!

  • @indiramichaelahealey5156

    Welcome guys ......so good to have you here soon ♥ Germany is one of the best countries to live in and if they finally offer the dual citizenship here in Germany you could be German and keep your US citizenship. My son has it (we are both German and he is born in New Mexico, USA, in 1997 .....so he has 2 passports).

    Just a few remarks on pet travel. Check the height of your pet cages and compare it to the available height underneath the seats. Pets traveling in the cargo hold is not a problem, as this section of the aircraft is pressurized. I have had excellent service from Lufthansa, when transferring our pets from Asia to Europe, back to Asia and finally to the US.

    • @cobblestoneadventures1129
      @cobblestoneadventures1129 Před 2 lety

      Yes, thank you! We have checked the measurements of the seats and the size of the carrier. Since Boston terriers are a Brachycephalic Breed they are not allowed underneath the airplane In cargo since they have small snouts. This also goes for pugs, frenchies, Bulldogs, etc. :)

    So exciting, congrats you two! As a back-up plan, Jared could always get TEFL certified to teach English. I got my certificate while still working full-time in the States before making the move. Although I don’t currently teach English (preferred to be employed vs freelance for tax and other purposes), it can definitely be a safety net during that “what if” stage during those 90 days.
