  • I've been on a lighting kick, and ordered the Aputure 60x a few months back. If you wondering if it's the right light for you, I'm talking through and showing it's features.

    Thank you for this presentation. I am intrigued that you used the LS 60X with the Aputure Light Dome Mini II, which is much sturdier and larger than the dedicated Aputure dome (LS60 softbox). Does the light from LS 60Xcover the whole 21.5” area of the Light Dome Mini II? Thanks

      I haven’t measured that exactly, I just liked this modifier and ran with it.

    Thanks for this review man. Been thinking of picking this up. But noticed some 120D II for sale for approx the same price. Wonder which you'd get in that scenario?

      different lights for different scenes! I like the 120 II for flexibility and a little more output, but hard to beat how compact this thing is.

      That's a really wide range of lighting scenarios, they are plenty bright but without knowing how you shoot I really won't be able to advise. Test for yourself certainly the best bet.

    Do you have a preference between the 120d and 120ii for soft, flattering lighting?

      @georgemichaelofficial  Před 4 měsíci

      softness all about diffusion! Definitely wouldn't get the original light with all the new options out there now.

    It’s focussing lens is for me a huge plus yet no mention of that.
