The connections between K1-B0 and Serial Designation N are that they are teenage robots with learning and growing Ai‘s, they are at a surface level very imposing and threatening looking due of them being outsiders from the rest of the cast (K1-B0 being the only robot among his classmates and one of the few self aware robots in the school and Serial Designation N being a Disassembly Drone among the worker drones and being one of the few Disassembly Drone on earth) but are actually the complete opposite in the inside.
Both have similar personalities, they are socially awkward people who are treated as complete jokes by others, especially by their circles and groups. They don’t know how to handle romantic, or even just friendly mutual friendships due of their very quirky and bullyable personalities, They also look similar, with their grey metal skin, glowing colorful eyes and metal light grey hair. They also wear hats if considering K1-B0‘s pre V3 design.
Both also envy humans and often copy, replicate and perform humanly acts to become more human, which makes them more dorky than anything.
They also have a female friend, possibly love interest who are genius maniacs with their skilled craftsmanship of creating new arsenals, weapons and such, who at a surface level are rude, brutish and mean people, but are actually really flawed teenage girls with a troubled past when looking deeper into them. (Uzi and Iruma)
They also have a bully who constantly, well, bullies them for their own entertainment, who also were antagonists for a short time in till they got murdered though outside forces. (Kokichi and J)
Both live in apocalyptic worlds, where humanity has gone extinct on earth, they were sent there with contrasting missions and goals in design (K1-B0 was chosen by Hopes Peak Academy to survive and live among the rest of his Class in The Gofer Project while Serial Designation N was sent on earth among his fellow Disassembly Drones to murder all remaining Worker Drones on the planet, with a one way trip, with the seemingly intention of letting him and his group to die alongside the other drones)
Both share mysterious pasts, which they can’t remember much from due of being Amnesiacs, but they remember their one of, if not only human loved one (Professor Idabashi and Tessa) who they cared each other greatly, but were separated upon.
They were not always who they are now, they were more robotic and functionally like one despite their burdened expectations in till they were mysteriously reborn into who they are currently by their memories getting reseted. (K1-B0 was built to be a human like robot, which didn’t work at first. Until, an unpredictable accident occurred during a routine experiment. K1-B0‘s programming went rogue and he ended up seriously maiming the professor. He was suddenly overcome by immense sadness, guilt and shame. For the first time, he understood how it felt to feel human emotions, and at that moment his AI suddenly reseted, which resulted him into becoming the K1-B0 that we know of today, and in N's memories, it's revealed what the Disassembly Drones were like when they were just regular Worker Drones. In till Cyn went rouge, seemingly killed every human in Tessa‘s mansion, and trapped N in a chair, and planned to reset his memories, which seemingly worked looking at it retrospectively as a past event.)
After having their mind once again screwed with, did the two become violent, rouge and deadly robots who went on a rampage to destroy and kill everything in their way. (After losing his "Inner Voice“, this caused him to malfunction, attacking the school indiscriminately and gravely damage the school buildings and surrounding gardens, and didn’t care if his classmates died or not, all for the sake of ending "Despair“, and Serial Designation N after the Cyn‘s accident was remodeled and rebuilt into a Disassembly Drone, which we have seen already, were sent to murder every Worker Drone on earth after humanity has gone extinct there.) They even got updated with weapons and new abilities for their rampage. (K1-B0 upgraded himself with lasers guns, a advanced physically body and a Jetpack, and Serial Designation N got upgraded with claws, a syringe tail filled with acid, healing spit and wings to fly)
Both soon after, got their mind screwed, again, by the protagonists, which resulted them into becoming more peaceful and not as murder happy as before (K1-B0 got his Antenna reattached with returned his "Inner Voice“ and after N got his head blasted off by Uzi‘s rifle, it caused some damage in his Programms to made him more reasonable to interact with)
They shortly after were in deep thought and answered their inner questions that they never asked before, which resulted them into discovering the dark truths in their missions and design. (K1-B0 wasn’t built for said reasons as above, but to be a camera, a pawn by the audience to interact with the "characters“ of Danganronpa, and Serial Designation N discovered that he was just sent to die alongside his group on that planet with the Worker Drones) which then resulted them holding a great grudge against their supposed human "creators“.
They also share contrasting animal motifs, or to be more exact, ranks or status of the food chain. (K1-B0 was prey to the Exisals, who are animal shaped, most notably predator type animals, while Serial Designation N is feral, and shows many signs and showcases of a predator type animal, most notably Vampirism)
They have complicated names (K1-B0 and Serial Designation N), so they prefer if you just call them by their shorten name (Kibo/Keebo and N)
