This particular scenery is one of the most gorgeous sites I've seen in gaming. It has everything I ever wanted in a Greek mythology interpretation of Olympia. It happens right after you exit the Hyperion Gate when you defeat Hades. God bless the designers of this game. The scale and scenery is amazing here. The game is a masterpiece.

@@GOWSoundtrack I have to disagree in the highest regard. The game had amazing bosses and set pieces scattered throughout the whole game (Gaia/Poseidon fight in the beginning, Hades, Hercules, Cronos battle, Zeus battle. The enemy vareity and environments were rich in detail. There were a lot of ground covered in this game, I don't exactly know what more you could want. The only flaw I could think of was that the story got cheesy in the end because the main weapon was "hope," which was kind of lame. But that is only a smudge compared to the scale of what this game has to offer.

@@canadianturtle7240 In my opinion, the only redeeming qualities of GoW 3 are the music, visuals and titan sections. I just think GoW 2 set the bar too high for fans. The story of GoW 3 was much less ambitious, smaller in scope and much worse told than previous games. The writing for every character was awful, except maybe Hephaestus and possibly Hera. Except for these two, the performances were all cringeworthy (even Kratos, despite TC Carson delivering great performances in 1, 2, CoO and Ascension). For me, Olympus itself was an unforgivable let down, after seeing its grand, godly portrayals in previous games and in the concept art (the only noteworthy locations in 3 were the chamber of the flame and muse statue sections). The combat, whilst fun, but felt less 'weighty' than the previous games. The end boss battle was underwhelming after the one in GoW 2.
Fortunately I think Cory Barlog sorted out most, if not all of these issues in GoW 2018 (if only he was in charge of GoW 3 🙁)

@@GOWSoundtrackand I completely disagree with you. god 3 is an epic story where they managed to improve everything that god 2 left behind. All boss fights are unique and fun, each with their own differences and emotions. and the final fight against Zeus wraps it all up nicely. there are 3 turns against Zeus, and an extra 4 after he leaves the spiritual world with hope. I can't imagine a better way to end this epic saga. god 2 was a spectacular game, but god 3 took it to an unparalleled level of detail, creativity and brutality. God of war 3 is my favorite game in the entire franchise, surpassing God 2018 and Ragnarok, which was a disappointment for me.
