George Takei is one of my life long heroes. Since the 1960's. In the 1990's when I was studying the Holocaust and studying the American concentration camps as well. As a Jewish/native American person I was intensely concerned and deeply interested in the Japanese American experience during the second WW, I read everything I could. I read, studied, the Alaska Native experience, the Japanese American experience, in America as well. The Aeut Alaskan Native American peoples were also put into concentration camps as well. And Died, the Aleut people died, from starvation, disease and mistreatment in those camps during WWII, many never returned to their native lands after the war. It's a horrific story. We ignore, are blind...

This horrifying treatment of American Citizens has been buried in our history. As a student in the 1960s I was appalled that this pimple in our history had been left out of my history books.

What happened to George Takei and his family was wrong. They were here legally. And they were vetted before they ever were allowed to come into the country. What's happening now on the border is entirely different. The ones at the border now could be thieves, rapist, child molesters, murderers, sex traffickers or whatever. They've already proved they have no problem with breaking the law. They were quite ready to do so by coming into the country illegally. And I wish these twisters of facts would stop showing the cages and metallic blankets that obama had for illegal aliens and making it seem as if they were the idea of President Trump. And where was George Takei when obama was keeping them in those cages with the metallic blankets? Where was anybody who is raising hell now when every administration before Trump did far worse than he's doing? At least Trump is trying to sort it out. Instead of raising hell about what's wrong why don't they come together calmly and work on ways to make it right?

There's a thing called basic human decency, which Trump is completely devoid of. The amazing part is there's probably no one in politics who has benefited more from the labor of Central American migrants than Trump as he built his fortune in the industries which rely on their labor. The fact that he constantly attacks and demonizes the same people who helped enable his success speaks volumes about the type of hypocritical, hate mongering sociopath path he is.
As a worker on a Trump construction site put it: “Do you think that when we’re hanging out there from the eighth floor that we’re raping or selling drugs?” Ramon Alvarez, 48, a window worker from El Salvador, said during a break Monday morning. “We’re risking our lives and our health. A lot of the chemicals we deal with are toxic.”

And it was the video here that showed the metallic blanket. I simply mentioned it after I saw it. If the ones making the video don't want anybody to tell the truth then they can stop telling lies. And to show something from the obama times when talking about Trump is planting the seed of a lie.
