@@Jake97x Hi, Jake. We meet again!
Disagree with Alex, Eddie Howe isn’t learning he’s been a manager long enough to know & spot issues earlier … burn was done from the first minute was really difficult watching him today
This just replay of the Forest game. Dan Burn got subbed off 55min. Eddie Howe will play Dan Burn regardless
100% he's been given enough time to learn. Its not like he starting management just recently
Agree. If we was learning, it's clear to anyone we look far more vulnerable with Burn.
Taking him off once the damage is done isn't learning.
@@Dan_Graham exactly his footballing career was cut short with injury .. he’s been a manager for nearly 16 years so he’s not a rookie
100%
Really don't agree with Stato saying Eddie Howe is still learning because he made tactical changes as they happened at villa.. This is Luton!! How many times does he leave changes far too late thats cost us throughout the season
Still learning after we threw away Europe, the Carabao cup and countless Prem games by not making changes... wheres the learning?
DB should stick to serving fish and chips at Blyth South Beach😂
Burn should did not run to much against Villa he should stay more at the back .
But he needs to understand to play to his strengths also he can bring a good rotation player but at CB not LB you know he's not a LB .
Hi Alex, I sort of agree with you about Howe learning from previous mistakes and you highlighted the villa game as a good example, however this appears to be selective learning rather than learning on a broad scale. Everyone has identified that Burn does not have the pace to effectively defend against quick wingers and that is a tactic being utilised by opposition managers, so if it’s so obvious to us as fans, then why hasn’t Howe identified this problem? At the end of the day he’s a professional football manager who’s seen burn get done by pace before and also seen a perfectly good player in Tino who can deal with pace sitting on the bench. Isn’t Howe being a tad naive to think that something that doesn’t work will eventually just fix itself if he persists enough? For me, I agree with you when you said burn is better suited against certain wingers, but today was one time he wasn’t appropriate and burn doesn’t pick the team, so that falls on Howe. He has to be respectfully criticised for making that decision. Thank you.
Not the result that I wanted, but a great game to watch, respect to Luton for coming with the clear intention of winning and not sitting back, although European football of any kind is looking more and more unlikely I’m honestly still very happy with the team as we’re competing in most games sticking together and giving our all, can’t really ask anymore, maybe it will be different next season if we don’t have 1786 injury’s lol, oh and I hate saying this but the people booing at the end of the game near me in the family end honestly need to be ashamed of them selfs you are an absolute disgrace, your team has just fought back from 4-2 down to earn a point and you boo them, honestly you are absolute plastics and need to remember we’re we were 3-4 years ago, get a grip man.
Gordon is on crutches and can't walk apparently, heard this from John Anderson on BBC Newcastle. Really don't know whether to laugh or cry with our injury crisis, it's outrageous.
Ffs... headless chicken it is then. Great
Barnes Isak Gordon has to be the front 3 for next season. Serious attack/ UCL level
Howe will never do that he's starting to end up like Steve Bruce now
Great stream guys.
Great to see Barnes back, and thankfully Wilson back for his 3-4 appearances before his next injury.
However, a gallant fightback to claim a draw against European giants Luton Town isn't anything to be proud of.
Tino, Beresford or literally anyone else starts that game at left back, we win. Penalty summed it up - skinned for pace for the umpteenth time, all can do is drag the guy back. Getting seriously worried that Howe appears blind to the obvious weak link in our back four. Plus, Burn massively hamstrings whoever is left wing, as they need to spend the game babysitting rather than going forward.
We learned nowt from playing them away when Burn was targeted in that game
Howe blowing it again he is the only person who can't see Dan Burn is 💩💩💩
Wasn't just Dan burn longstaff scored two but gave ball away led a Luton goal so we gave 3 goals away through burn and longstaff need to play tino going forward appropriately and longstaff needs to be more forceful
That goal came from a Longstaff non tackle, I've had stronger coffees🙄
@paulmcnicholas3846 yes I know it was a powder puff challenge longstaff very poor in challenging in this game
Eddie howe isnt learning on the job hes been in management for a long time blame lies with him no excuses if he gets the praise when we do well he also takes the critism for days like today. The HDL (howe defence league) needs to stop and just admit when he gets it wrong
well it's good-bye from Eddie and it's good-bye from Jason been seeing yer.
Totally agree with Paul on Hall, been scratching my head for months now, will we really blow 30m on Hall purely on his prowess at darts?
I think there is a reason Eddie was not backed in the Jan window by the owners. I see a change in August. Shame really but he hasn't learned from Burnley and Bournemouth. Every fan from those clubs said the only negative was his loyalty to players. Well that loyalty has cost us. Saudis won't stand for that
I would like to see hall next match Dan burn is killing us at lb but honestly targett has his detractors he hasn't put in a performance like that at any point though I'd like to see him back
GORDON ON CRUTCHES
Since last year cup final, D.burn problem was there,I was keep writing about why he doesn't play m.targett leftback?this year, similar shit lewis hall not playing leftback (cost 28m).Eddie howe wasting newcastle United Time for god sake
How many games has Howe been reactive, way too many is the answer. Yes we've had injuries but a lot of the time no excuse.
Was so obvious to take burn off way earlier then he did
Don't think dan burn works at all anytime livermento is a better player by far and should be first choice
mourinho or klopp which one will become Newcastle's next elite manager either one would do a fantastic job for Newcastle united.
Poor officiating once again tonight how can you give that as a penalty when the first contact is outside the box great video lads keep it up ps I have my reaction up on my channel 100% mags if you lads & lasses want to hear my full thoughts on the game
alex needs to get the rose tinted eddie howe glasses off 🤢
No other manager in the top half of the league would start burn ahead of tino!!!!!
Miggy needs to morw to help Burn but then he also need to be up front where him need him in attack, so either way he's gonna get criticised. Also, Gordon cuts in most of the time when he on left and thats ok, no one moans
Forest did it to us at St james
We are screwed as pictures of Gordon have come out on crutches 🩼
We should've won, but Luton also beat Brighton 4-0, who just beat Palace 4-1 so you have to give credit to them too. Burn must be dropped though.
Can they chase disabre too,,,, coz he lost 4;0,,,, accept Luton has been disturbing this season bro,,,, Eddie forever🎉
It's not as if we don't have alternatives at lb.
Lewis Hall's arse keeping the bench warm as usual.
Couldn’t disagree more. Before a ball was kicked burn should of played due to how they play their game from set pieces. In no games this season have Luton played like that today. Having said that Howe should of known burn was getting beat and at HT burn should of come off. But it’s all good hindsight saying he shouldn’t of start because he should have.
Rubbish! Luton had pace on the wings and Howe knew that!
I say every week on your show Howe is gonna lose his job playing burn!!!!!!
I never want to see dan burn at left back ever again. Hes becoming a big liability, getting skinned every time eddy needs to grow a pair and drop him, we was lucky today. On a plus note good to see barnes back and credit to luton they played good and good luck to them for the rest of the seaon hope they stay up.
Eddie has to stop playing burn a 3 legged donkey can run faster 😅
Burn was certainly the wrong player he got out paced each attack
You have to say Eddie Howe is running out of excuses what a clown because he is the one loosing us point and against Villa if they took their chances
It would have been 3 nill Villa.
I really want Eddie to go all the way with us, but he needs to stop the favorite players crap and bench burn in favour of tino.
Livramento should've been back in the team after he was ill for the City game. He'd done nowt wrong before that. Howe's loyalty to certain players is very questionable now, and a lot more fans are picking up on this.
Eddy is not going to last as he has not learned a thing the points we have lost this season due to dan burn be run ragged is totting up
Dan burn is the weakest link game after game other teams know this why does EH not realise it
According to eddie howe,D.burn better leftback than lewis Hall...bullshits
Alex take ur rose tinted glasses of talking nonsense!!
Why?
