@Chris Kelly 🤣🤣 in an ideal World we can bend rules of physics and cruel fate. There are hundreds of examples, let's see one scenario, Imagine this kid is running after ball without noticing an approaching car, what would you prefer an full metal or an plastic fender which is gonna hit the kid ?
In the UK it will be cheaper to buy a new or used bumper coz no one is bothered to fix, and if they fix it they will charge even more than the price of a new one.. 😂
Sometimes the price is expensive to replace the whole bumper cover then repair. If customers want this it's all good then . If not and thr repair lasts your a hero
*Hope you're wearing safety goggles! ( I'm a grandma) This was really fascinating! Much appreciation to people who make the lives of others better, to the people that invent/discover things, make improvements, etc. Amazing what you can accomplish when you know what you're doing! Pure magic!*
You could always.... do it yourself. Buy the $200 part, mount it for a couple hours worth of your own labor. Then take it to a paint shop and have them match and paint it for something like $400. So you got it done for $600.
Working on my qualities to make this reparations... already done 3 bumpers... anda every video helps to developing the time and the techniques. You'r great jackie
Depends on how valuable your time is. Do you have someone else do it because you make too much money per hour making it more expensive than paying someone else? 😂
The work you guys are doing is brilliant!! I worked at a million dollar auto body shop, and what you guys are pulling together, and the money you're saving is truly awe inspiring. Makes me rethink the whole industry. Keep up the amazing work ❤
May not be available. Loads of parts on vehicles even 6 or 7 years old are on indefinite back order. And if you do find one, you have to get it paint-matched unless you don't care about that part. I literally can't get a piece of trim for my 2015 Camry's passenger door, and even if I could find one, they're around $140 just for that one little plastic panel. I just grabbed some stick-on velcro and stuck it together.
@Good Old Doug Regardless, the repaired one needs to be painted too. There are many outlets that sell LKQ parts from surrendered vehicles. Edit: Besides, applying bondo to a flexible part will fail when lightly bumped
people who say "that'll buff out" to a missing chunk of their bumper are not joking it will in fact buff out if you surgically join the two parts back together
I'm sure they want to brag about how great their bumper repair was, but the fact that the bumper cover is installed like a decorative panel on a residential building material and breaks into pieces so neatly makes me feel vulnerable and dangerous.
So let me see if I got this right. We used to look for plastic filler in metal to detect previous damage, and now we need to look for metal in plastic ? 😂
Hell yeah you keep it up u may be as good as the rest of us. U got a loooooong way to go tho man how long u been doing this line of work. My guess is a couple of years judging by this video. DONT GIVE UP ITS GOING TO BE A LONG HARD ROAD BUT WITH DETERMINATION U CAN DO IT
Why wouldn't you stitch it on the inside instead? Just pull the bumper cover and hide the stitches. I suppose you're going to paint over it either way, but it would hide a lot more of the work.
If "modern" trucks had real bumpers like they did in the 70's you'd just have to buff out a scratch😅
Those full metal cause far greater injuries to pedestrian in accident
@George Carlinndon’t hit a pedestrian then , and no matter what it’s fucking up a pedestrian because under that plastic is metal
@Chris Kelly 🤣🤣 in an ideal World we can bend rules of physics and cruel fate.
There are hundreds of examples, let's see one scenario,
Imagine this kid is running after ball without noticing an approaching car, what would you prefer an full metal or an plastic fender which is gonna hit the kid ?
@George Carlinn maybe this will teach pedestrians to stay off the road. we got so many illegals coming in we can spare a few pedestrians
@Alpha MangaYeah, just hit the pedestrians with your car. That'll teach them 😑
amazing it looks brand new
😂😂
First time I’ve ever seen a truck get stitches.
Show
😂😂
But have you ever seen these guys show the end result
Amazing work
Underestimated comment

Sitting at a body shop r.n in the u.s and laughing 😂
People put more time into they cars than they relationships 😂

My car and truck dont moan and complain.
Vous vendez sa au Gabon ??
because cars can be fixed....
Sound like smart people to me

I've been looking all over for you, Grandma !
Why did you leave ?
You know we Love you !!!
galing naman idol
BUT!! If you go to a "body shop", they'll replace the whole thing and trash the old one for $2,200 (which is $200 for the part and $2,000 labor)
would only be $1800 in my area for "i gotchu discount"😂
You could always.... do it yourself. Buy the $200 part, mount it for a couple hours worth of your own labor. Then take it to a paint shop and have them match and paint it for something like $400. So you got it done for $600.
@Keys879ive come to learn people would rather bitch about it.
Amazing!
Impeccable !!!! 👍😃🏵️🇨🇵
300$ in labor or 200$ on new bumper cover?!?!😮
Working on my qualities to make this reparations... already done 3 bumpers... anda every video helps to developing the time and the techniques. You'r great jackie
Depends on how valuable your time is. Do you have someone else do it because you make too much money per hour making it more expensive than paying someone else?
😂
This is what I need to do to my 08 avalanche dash
Was that a form of acupuncture?
The work you guys are doing is brilliant!! I worked at a million dollar auto body shop, and what you guys are pulling together, and the money you're saving is truly awe inspiring. Makes me rethink the whole industry.
Keep up the amazing work ❤
Forget the plastic, put a steel shield there.
Man I lost you, now I'm glad I found your page again!
I just ordered one of those hot staple guns from Temu for like $18!! I’m waiting for something to crack, so I can use it!!!😂
Most times the bumper is mended from the inside. Although this is faster.
Finally a video where they put the staples in the correct orientation
Awesome work!
Wonderful work Sir❤
The bond is stronger if you grind the paint off first.
Not true it burns through it.
Get that thing fixed before the boss gets back from lunch! Ok…get me some snap ties!
Whole new meaning to the term "it'll buff out"
Wofür zahlen wir eine Versicherung?
lovely work!
That's brilliant!
That'll save you 20k on a new ford plastic bumper😂
A new bumper cover is cheaper than the repair unless it is your own car and you have nothing but time
May not be available. Loads of parts on vehicles even 6 or 7 years old are on indefinite back order. And if you do find one, you have to get it paint-matched unless you don't care about that part. I want to see a fiberglass bumper get restored 😞
That's how my face from left ear to chin got reconstructed after a bike accident at 76 kph. I always go out as Michael Myers for Halloween 🎃
Instructions unclear:
I put the saw blade through the rest of the bumper😅
people who say "that'll buff out" to a missing chunk of their bumper are not joking
it will in fact buff out if you surgically join the two parts back together
Remember the good old days when they used to fix this with ramen noodles?
ah yes, the central covidian era
although tedious, i like the look for the zip tie stitch more if you need something there for a little longer than temporary lol.
I'm sure they want to brag about how great their bumper repair was, but the fact that the bumper cover is installed like a decorative panel on a residential building material and breaks into pieces so neatly makes me feel vulnerable and dangerous.
Where's part 2?
I need to see the final product 😶
Parts = $3
Labor = $300
Chinese is Chinese very hardworking n intelligent people 👌👌👌👌
😂
Wo maar kar gya.... Meri ooakat nhi samjh paya.... 😂😂😂❤
Wow !
Pehli baar aise bumper judta dekha.
So let me see if I got this right. We used to look for plastic filler in metal to detect previous damage, and now we need to look for metal in plastic ? 😂
Great Job.
It is better if you put some super glue to close the gap before applying that hot wire.
Hell yeah you keep it up u may be as good as the rest of us. U got a loooooong way to go tho man how long u been doing this line of work. My guess is a couple of years judging by this video. DONT GIVE UP ITS GOING TO BE A LONG HARD ROAD BUT WITH DETERMINATION U CAN DO IT
anyway I've never seen this guy upload a finish product😂😂
They just need to make it out of steel not plastic and we wouldn't have these problems
Very beautiful
Pernikahan bersejarah......
Likewise you can make small holes ans run zipties neatly, and make it look like stiches. I have seen this ans make the car totally cool
Top demais
Quem sabe , sabe!!!👏👏 parabéns ótimo trabalho amigo!!..
When in a country where resources are limited…you do what you gotta do. 🤷🏼♂️.

When he was stiching the bumper piece, it looked like CHUCKY’s HEAD 😂

Wow you really love your car❤❤😊
Excellent work
So where do you get one of those heat staple tools?
Every body screaming: you should just use noodles
Iya pake las plastik welding gun ngebantu banget
No, thank you. I need the part number, pls. And thanks again!
I just drill some holes and zip tie a X stitches for about $10😅
If this was a real car with a real bumper, you wouldn't have this problem
Rất hay, cảm ơn bạn đã chia sẻ.
Nice work 🎉
Better than new
doesn’t this ruin the integrity of the bumper though?
Cutting off the ending deprives us of the finishing.
