War Hammer Review | Tim Kennedy

- I may not be a hammerogist but I did graduate magna cum laude from the most prestigious Ivy League university. My apprenticeship was of the Fort Benning variety, my internship was at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and my residency was in the octagon at Las Vegas, Nevada. A war hammer is a weapon having a heavy head usually with one blunt and one spiked extremity
especially. Often one with a long handle for infantry used in medieval warfare especially for breaking armor and making the green grass grow. With an international shortage of war hammers, I decided to venture out into the more readily available hammer market to try and find if there is a comparable option that has the same functionality/lethality.
If we see SF troops carrying war hammers, we know who blame.. and thank.
Anyone else extremely happy that Tim Kennedy is on our side 😂 Pure Savage
Yes !!! 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿 lol
Dude said "gun control is a massive solution" so idk what "side" you rooting for.
@@hed6444 Yeah I saw that well after this comment I made from a year ago. I’m definitely not on his side
@@warweaponx6629 yeah, idk why he keeps popping up on my feed. Not a fan of people that use their military experience to insinuate their competence... when in fact it could be quite the opposite.
Watching Tim's psycho side show, makes me feel like I'm not alone lol
😂
That’s not his psycho side trust me
We're not brother 🤟🏽
@@outsideproductions right 😂
Me too
Tim Kennedy is a true patriot and a real American Hero!
hes cringe
@@snesie7172 you are cringe
@@snesie7172 and yet, here you are watching his video.
@@GuinessHangover lol for real
Hea cringe and isnt a true 2a supporter
That is a Medieval weapon known as the “Bec de Corbin.” Translated from old French it literally means “Crow’s Beak”, as you can get from the shape. It was designed to pierce, pry and smash Medieval Knights out of their lobster shells.
Certainly, as lethal today as it was back then.
Great video.
Heh, or the Halberd with the stably, slasher, pokey, hookie fun you can do with it >grinz
Theres also a pole arm version of that as well
@@teenagenosferatu um, hoss, that's the beasties we are talking about I thought. There is a crow bill that is one handed to be fair (And was used in the vid ) and I don't >think< there's a version of the Halberd that's a one handed version. Not saying there isn't I'm must unaware of it. Closest I can think of would be a battle axe. But hey I've been wrong before 😁
ElementsRook he was talking about Bec de Corbin. There is a longer two handed version of it
@@aristotelsb8874 yup, own one. Missed that he was going purely with the crow. (Old Ren rat near Lewis and currently pulling out gear to kit up some dudes from the regiment out here since its looking like some events are quietly going to happen)
Imagine, if you will, running to a SF guy on the field of battle and noticing he has a framing hammer attached to his kit.
"My whole entire adult life, I have been doing violence... AEEEHHHHHHHH"
Tim is LITERALLY like a kid in a candy shop.
Would love to see a series of axes, like from halebards and daneaxes to hatchets and tomahawks.
That’s a very dangerous well trained ADHD adult child. My highest respect. I lost it.
*Next should be screwdrivers of death.*
*A great tool to have around the house, or in the car, and a weapon used by many.*
what's a better point to have in a death match philps or flathead you mean?
@Loup DeFer I gotta go with philps
@@rykerhoppe4789 philips. Its easier to make into a point. Much faster. After either will have a solid point and will be the same. But takes about half the time with philips head.
@@davidliftsheavycircles couldn't you sharpen the side of a flathead with a whetstone and make a point
@@margueritefile5645 yep
And just like that I decided I needed to buy a “War Hammer” 🤣
my wife was overhearing and told me that if I want one I have to make the one he said - the giant one in the sharp one with the deadblow one inside all of them
The John Wick guy and Joe Rogan train at the same gym lol
RMJ Tactical - Snuggles.... It's a beast!
Testing weapons that aren’t usually weapons... John Wick style... pencil, pen, book...
A FUCKING PENCIL!!
@@ROBTAT2 yea, that’s what I said!
Sports equipment (hockey stick, baseball bat, cleats, tennis racket, golf club, helmet, etc). Keep smashin buddy!
@Loup DeFer Those matches can get intense buddy! Need to know the scientific impact if my back's against the net :)
Medieval knight: Ho ho ho, you will never be able to pierce my chain and plate mail armor.
Random infantryman: lol, Warhammer go *caCHUNK*
@Loup DeFer longbow. Agincourt, the Welsh were just a bunch of mud foot ground ponders and they killed off a significant portion of the french nobility. Swords were a noble weapon. Axe, long knife, spear, and farm tools OTOH were common folk weapons.
@Loup DeFer ah, you forget english law had all men train with the longbow every sunday for a generation after St Crispens day. It's also when the "archers sword" became a thing. It was held that the best bowman were made in generations. The old show "connections" had a excellent episode about it. Helps that it was done by the BBC before they went woke trash
Tim - fist weapons! Hear me out: Everything from “composite paperweights”, sap gloves, brass knuckles, trench knives, Bagh nakh, and kataras. You know you want one (at least) of all of those…
Hands down Best weapons reviewer. From hammers to fivesevens. Keep em comin Mr. Kennedy!
Gallagher is dialing his lawyer... LOL!!!
Thanks Tim. My buddy and I were in clean up in N'orleans after Hurricane Andrew 1992. Many laughed at us saying we had 12in crescent wrenches in our back pockets for backup. We didn't have anything else. fortunately didn't need them. ya use what ya got
For a moment I thought you were going to review 40k shit. But this did not disappoint. 👍🏿
Wouldn't be a bad thing either.
Im seriously curious if Tim knows there is a functional chain sword. I think the guys who made it are in Tennessee.
Tim is a goddamn American winning machine. A man after my own heart; he breaks the wood, questions if he breaks it, investigates, confirms he broke it, and then smells it because he has the opportunity.
You give me hope Tim Kennedy! God Bless
How dangerous are skateboards? They double as shields and increase mobility too.
That is indeed the presence I would expect a SF Operator to have. Great video Tim, best wishes to you and your family, stay safe out there bad ass.
Love the energy to putting into this video
Very glad you covered this subject thanks.
This whole video is freaken awesome from the smashy to the stabby.
His surprise reaction after he smashes shit, cracks me up! His enthusiasm is awesome!
Walking sticks. Hammer headed, spearlike, mace headed. The good stuff.
This was the strangest review video I've ever watch but I loved it. Tim is my favorite American!
I know I am blessed because my wife still looks at me the way Tim looks at his Warhammer.
Finally!!! Been waiting for this since the ig post, so excited for this onw
"Crazy" Tim Kennedy as my wife lovingly refers to him! Always entertaining and informative.
Watching Tim destroy Watermelons made my day.
I like the Spikey+Smashy one too. Might get one just to make my dad laugh at work.
Knowing that there are men like tim among us helps me sleep peacefully at night
This video is perfect 😂 the editing is so amazing too
Didn't even know Tim Kennedy had a youtube channel. Good shit!
I love this. Best thing I’ve seen all day
ALL OF THEM. Battery powered chainsaws please
This video is pure gold
According to Adam Savage of Mythbusters, the difference between science and screwing around.....is writing it down.
And I didn't see anyone with a clipboard 😆😆😆
Awesome video, Tim! 😁😁👍👍
Oh yeah, do battle axes next!
You should do axes next. Tree axe, fireman axe, splitting maul, hatchet, tomahawk, single head, double head, etc.
Why do I love this man so much!
dear tim, i think you are a great professional, dont believe the bullies, you have lot of potencial, be happy
Love the Warhammer. Have several years of playing with them doing live steel shows at Renaissance Festivals. Demo'ing them against steel plate, wood, and Butcher scraps. Much fun was had. Would live to see axes 🪓 & hatchets. Also functional blades like machete, awls, saex, & swords.
Machete's should be a nice basic one. But morning stars and flails are right up your alley Kennedy
Tim you are almost as crazy as I am. Good man.
Recently I bought a Honshu Kama and it is awesome light and fast with a huge karambit like blade. Just ordered a Honshu Battle Axe can't wait.
Tim, loved that warhammer. Review either the Gurkhas’ choppy kukri or all the various hand axe/tomahawks next.
All Tim's kidding aside, I have a 26 ounce Vaughan framing hammer. I have axes and all that. But I keep that hammer at the back of my truck. The force it creates on a swing is amazing. It will drive a framing nail thru two studs if done correctly in a single swing.
This channel is wild man
Crowbar , I have one stationed by the greeting door at work , it just appeared there one morning hidden the a punch or bags & thought “hey must be doing something right in life ,thank you universe:)
Imagine you come home late at night, hear a noise in your garage, and turn around to see a smiling Tim charging you with a smashy stabby crusty ear hammer....
You would have to have balls of steel to break into Tim's house your not leaving alive my friend
So glad he's on our side
A legend being legendary
Screw drivers and or spoons would be hilarious to see on the list for a future review.
The world needs men like this more than ever 🇦🇺🇺🇸
When you said I'm gonna have to get my chickens, I thought you were going in a completely different direction for a second 😭😂
Tim needs to get his hands on a pollaxe - he’d have an absolute field day with the amount of ruin your day those things are capable of.
Dane axe. Effectively a mid point between a hand axe and a great axe. More force than the one handed but faster than the great axe
Tim thanks for your service..... Navy veteran here I think you should test out the wasp injector knife love mine I think you will add it to your arsenal.
Such a great video
Well done, brother! 👍🏼🇺🇸
War Hammer + Tim Kennedy = can't click the 👍🏻 fast enough
Tim seems like he'd be a really fun dude to hang out with.
Your going to want to go to " Kilt of Athena " for the hardware. Tjey are pricey, but worth it. Kinda like a firearm. They even let you sort by era, culture, and price range. Decades ago I did a demo involving a hanging side of beef and a couple different types of swords for a group of writers that was well received. Can't wait to see what happens when you discover the "Dane Axe" 😁
“My entire adult life, I have been doing violence” hits differently when this guys says it..nothing but respect Tim! Thank you for your service
He has the best weapons review on the web.
20seconds in and already have to pause it to type.. man I fucking love Tim😂🤘🏻🇺🇸🦅💪🏻
Warhammer! Tim! Ballons! And.... MELONS!!! What stabby-ness!
Tim “ standing out here in the rain, ahhlhhhl” Kennedy lmao
Nail guns! Lol high school in carpentry class, we used to skip nails across the street, we later found out they went through neighbors window in stuck in the wall.
Has anyone ever told you you’re not right in the head?? Lol
Honestly I love it
A man's man, bro.
Good video. I watched this video, and now I'm almost ready for 2nd dinner.
Tim chasing me with a war hammer just become my #1 nightmare!
10 months have now gone by, still no warhammers in stock online… hammers are very lethal tools. 👍💪
Hey Tim, big fan! There’s a CZcamsr called Skallagrim who does a lot of medieval weapons reviews, if you’re looking for ideas on how to scale up your testing you might take a look at some of his work with the ballistics gel torsos and the zombies go boom heads. Hint, the zombie heads are awesome.
Awesome reviews. Thought it might be scientific.... but still loved it. I’d suggest making reviews of weapons with comparisons on what you can destroy and how effective it is at destroying!
I think it would be fun to see Tim review a bunch of traditional martial arts weapons (bo, sai, throwing stars etc) or maybe a bunch of products that are marketed as self defense weapons like kobotan(sp?) key chains
“If you don’t have a hammer, get a hammer” Tim Kennedy 2021
Sound advice!
Seeing tim Kennedy testing cold steel weapons such as bats, walking sticks, you name it would be awesome. Or check out uncle pimpys axe palace for truly strange stuff
And now to test this on different types of body armor!
What I want to know is what Tim has against Melons? 🤣🤣🤣
Love your work Mr Kennedy. 👍👍
I love watching Tim's videos. He gets so excited about violence. 🤣
Nutty as hell, I love it
Love you Tim
Wow...I just bought a new 22oz Framing hammer. While I Do love it, and have been playing with it a lot, I think I just found a whole new appreciation for it :3
My favorite part of this video is the giant satellite dish with the trees laying on top of it
Anything you can find in a hardware store. A couple of different individual shows for the series could be.....
1. Axes
2. Garden tools such as hoes picks pitchforks.
3. Saws, ranging from hand saws to chainsaws and everything between.
4. Random home made tools made from stuff at the hardware store such as a 4x4 with nails poking out of the fucker
Shovels would be a good one to do in the future
Tim is like a giant 5 year old of destruction!!! Love it!
Test out different spear types.
Tim has so much freakin energy lol
Great Great presentation
This is interesting 👍. You should review knifes next.
Thank god Tim is one of the good guys 😂
Imagine you’re in midevil times , and you see Tim Kennedy running at you with a whole warhammer 😂
Y’all should review several different types of common hunting knives and see what style, shape and size works most effectively
Keep this going dude ! Shit is gold !
Tomahawks would be cool or even just like a steel pipe like a "war clubs" edition. I know some have nuts embedded in the ends to cause damage. Maybe include how you personally would carry them on your person and draw it during a fight. Love your videos, they always make me laugh! Keep kicking ass.
could you show us how you got out of Roger Gracie's body triangle? I can't find the fight anywhere...thanks
