- 🇩🇪 Die „Extrawelt“ wurde 2005 geschaffen von den Hanseaten Wayan Raabe und Arne Schaffhausen. Das Fundament: über 10 Jahre elektronisches Treiben als Djs und Produzenten. Die Ausstattung: überwiegend analoge Sounds, bereichert durch digitale Errungenschaften. Der daraus entstehende Klangkosmos ist so vielfältig, dass man gerne jegliche Subgenre-Schubladen der modernen elektronischen Tanzmusik geschlossen halte möchte. Wilde Live-Shows bedarf es keiner, das Gegenteil scheint der Fall: 2014 werden Extrawelt von den FAZEmag-Lesern zum besten Live-Act gewählt, trotz absolutem Bühnen-Purismus. Extrawelt sind unter anderem vertreten auf den Labels Cocoon Recordings und Traum Schallplatten, touren durch die ganze Welt und remixen Größen wie Dominik Eulberg und Alexander Kowalski.

🇫🇷 Extrawelt a été créé en 2005 par Wayan Raabe et Arne Schaffhausen, deux DJ et producteurs d’électro. Leur musique se nourrit principalement de sons analogiques, enrichis par l’expérience numérique que les deux Hambourgeois ont acquise durant leurs 10 années de carrière. L’univers sonore des musiciens est tellement pluriel que toute référence à des sous-genres électroniques paraît déplacée. Chez Extrawelt, pas de performances scéniques déjantées, bien au contraire : en 2014, les lecteurs du FAZEmag ont qualifié le duo de meilleur Live Act, malgré sa sobriété absolue sur scène. Il est notamment distribué par les labels Cocoon Recordings et Traum Schallplatten. Assurant des tournées dans le monde entier, Extrawelt propose entre autres des remix de grandes pointures de l’électro allemande, comme Dominik Eulberg ou Alexander Kowalski.

Wow, dude i was listening to extrawelt 10 years ago! I see them twice time in live, back in the days and i can say they so much improve their live act! This is one of the most impressive live i have ever heard from them ! Elegant, precision, contemporary, nostalgia, deep and powerfull, thats the words id want to attribute to this incredible piece of art. So happy to find back all that tracks that makes me fall in love with their sounds!

It doesn't matter what "any kind of ambient-minimal-techno-goa-electronic track" they produce or create: everytime you can "filter" the unique "Extrawelt-sound" inside the track...its just "another world" in all forms of electronic music..."pioneers" and all-time heroes/legends!

Die Aussage finde ich kritisch. Wäre Extrawelt auch außerhalb der Szene "populär", was ja die einzige Definition von "Pop Musik" ist, wäre das Set dann schlechter? Die "Pop Musik" der Vergangenheit ist heute teilweise ja geradezu underground.

Unfortunatly they play this version of Titelheld only live. Wish to have it as an remix on Tidal. Was at Ritter Butzke beginning of april and was lucky they played Titelheld early in their set, needed to leave after that, found out the hard way, that club life is not for me anymore (set started at 2.30) ;-( But to be honest to play the music at home is even better because you can enjoy it alone ;-)
Lol, after beeing a huge Extrawelt Fan since the very beginning and listening to all the songs, also knowing this set for years I just realized (thanks to the tracklist below) that the FSK18 Mix is the one I was looking for years. Since Titelheld (next to Fernweh) is my absolutle favorite song I completely lost track that there was the FSK18 Version, which I checked out long time ago... Good to know that the weekend just started, so a lot of time to be on the headphones ;-)

had my eyes shut on that tell stories to our son track and I've just been miles away, 1st time that's ever happened and ive been listening and mixing dance music for 20 yr solid, that was something else, don't know what it was but it was so real, had to share that folks, snapped out of it like an epiphany, any one else had that with this set
I've been from the first raves in 89', seen several dozen of techno legends, if not hundred, 20 years of party all around the world, and I agree this mix kicks ass big time.
I went to my first Extrawelt concert last weekend and had the same experience. Absolutely unreal.

Titelheld ist eines meiner absoluten Lieblingslieder, von den Emotionen und der Musikalität her kommen da für mich nur Touch me von Rui da Silva, Oh that I had von Mt Eden, Come down to us von Burial und vielleicht Sensula (Max Cooper Lost in sound Mix) von Dominik Eulberg. Die ersten drei natürlich anderes Genre, alles aber mega Songs.
