    The Goldsmith uses the outer part of the flame to melt Gold and Silver. Because metal need high temperature 🌡️ to melt and the outer part of the flame is the hottest as u explain mam.

    Mam water controls the flame by increasing the ignition temperature,and you told that it reduces the ignition temperature. because if it reduces the ignition temperature it means it will catch fire more quickly.

      Thank you for your question! Spontaneous combustion is when a material ignites without an external heat source, while rapid combustion is when a material ignites very quickly with an external heat source. Tissue paper ignites quickly, so it would be considered rapid combustion.

    Answer= The goldsmith uses outermost zone of a flame which is non luminous, and used to melt gold and silver as it is the hottest zone of flame.
