    actually po tama po yung pronunciation po ni ate na "science" (sayans) dahil nakabase po ito sa American Accent.Yun pong "science"(sayns)
    ay nakabase naman po sa Irrish,British and Scottish accent

      Actually po, I think hindi tama yung "sayans" na pronunciation ni ate. It's more like schwa sound siya. Sa phonetics, American Accent, it's more of a schwa sound after the "a" from the first syllable and before "n" sa second. Hope it helps.

    Basically in American Dialect nawawala ang second syllable nila. Tayong mga Pilipino inaappreciate naten bawat syllable di na naten nilalagyan ng arte! wahahahaha

    Actually, according to the Merriam Dictionary, in Cacao, there are 2 alternate pronunciations, /kə-ˈkau̇/or /kə-ˈkā-(ˌ)ō/, they’re both correct.

    I think we should check the correct pronunciation using an online dictionary (example: Cambridge dictionary) pag hindi tayo sure. Makikita din natin don yung pronunciation spelling. :D

    2:21 Coupon is not /Kopon/ it's /ku-pon/ (East Coast US English). It sounds weird for most people, but it's the proper way.

    My UP professor in English comes back to mind with your pronunciation of SAYNS. kasi uso daw yan sa mga public school. Two-syllable word po yun. So the STANDARD PRONUNCIATION is the one ate gurl used initially. Tama po xa. Nakaka. Okray naman kayo besh.

      FlMc654 MCRF it is just base in our Speech Teacher,she said that when you pronounce the word cacao,the stress is in the first syllable,so its "kóko"when you pronounce it.

    I'm surprised walang nag point out ng proper pronounciation ng "grocery." Yung pinoint-out lang is yung "almond."
    Yung proper pronounciation ng grocery is "gro-shery"

    As a Filipino-American, the idea of fact checking someone else's pronouncation and making fun of them strongly indicates colonial mindset, inferiority complex, and bigoted.
    For example, the way either of the girls pronounced science are both correct. It's just one of them is American pronouncation and the other is British(colonial mindset)
    The fact that she feel the need to make fun of somebody because they didn't know something she knew indicates her own lack of IQ in which she project to others in order to feel better about herself(illuminati, inferiority complex)
    If she thinks the way other people's pronouncation is wrong and should be corrected, then she's a bigot. If she did that to someone in a different race, she would look like a fucking racist
