I like the UFC for many reasons. One reason is because they are still a meritocracy and have not gone woke.

HE reminds me of something I learned in high-school....the seriously bad cats, the big tough dudes, never acted like hard-asses, at least to me. They knew they had nothing to prove, so they got along with everyone. It was always the jerks my size or a bit bigger who tried to start problems. When one meets a professional fighter, especially a fighter in such a tough discipline, I can only imagine that the same thing applies.
I agree! The best lesson I've learned in life is when someone TELLS you who they are and reminds you of it often, the opposite is most likely true... Most, not all, that do it are basically more afraid than the average guy so they throw up the shield and look for smaller/weaker non-fighters to "prove" themselves on...

I know a guy who fought on ufc fight pass. He’s cool. A nice kid, I ran into him at the Ricky’s eating breakfast.
50/50 man! I met and trained with some of the best and those guys were all the nicest guys ever. The up and coming Guys always had something to prove. Maybe it’s a level thing. I don’t know, but you’re right on, basically.
