I have African friends. I would say that they are very hard working and family oriented people. They do come over to the states for a better life and to obtain education, and send money back home. I hate to say it but we have many blacks who were born on this soil and complain and sit around doing nothing productive. I have African friends. I would say that they are very hard working and family oriented people. They do come over to the states for a better life and to obtain education, and send money back home. African Americans have African ancestry. It shows in their phenotype, so its totally okay for them to call themselves African American. Additionally, African-Americans don't know a lot about their ancestry because that part of their history was stolen from them, not because they're ignorant.... AND because of what of African Americans fought for in the USA, freedom and equality, therefore a lot of Africans and many other cultures from around the world can come to the US now and enjoy the opportunity to improve their lives. They probably would not be able to do that without the efforts of African-Americans who fought for equality. So you see, there's value in every single culture, especially African-American culture, in my opinion. 😊

We only have about 0.8% Native American ancestry and on average about 20% of European ancestry due to the large scale raping of African women in America for over 300 years. That’s why some of us look slightly distinct from other continental Africans. We have a mixed racial heritage but still are predominantly an African people, having about 80% African DNA on average.
