Not that much more. The stealerships in my city are marking up Colorados by $2K and intentionally stifling supply to keep the prices inflated. I have lost interest in the truck because of their mind games and the way they manipulate their floor plans to keep the prices as steep as possible. For comparison, a Blazer at the same stealership I visited was priced at a whopping $49,000.

Thank you Ben for the GM review. The only think I do not like is the headlight design. I cannot stand it when they put one headlight on each side of the grille when a vehicle should have a quad( two on each side) headlight design on each side of the grille. I like the digital gauges and the features. That truck is almost bad a full sized truck was back in the day. The trucks have become larger indeed. The GMC Canyon is nice as well. Compare Canyon and Colorado if you can and throw in the Ford Ranger.

Ben just a heads up, the 2024 model year all the Colorados come with the Turbo Max engine only the WT can come with the Turbo 238hp and 260tq but the WT can also come with the Turbo Max 310hp and 430tq with that option, but the Turbo Max comes standard in all other trims of the Colorado and Canyons for 2024 just like ALL trims Colorado and Canyons only come with the 11" DIC, (driver infotainment center) for the 2024 model year and all 2024 model year Colorado and Canyons use the Ultifi software system for over the air updates, so we will see how good that works since its their first year and its the same system that caused a stop sale on them until they could be updated and is the cause of the stop sale of the Chevy Blazer EV to this day.

Just went today to the dealer Toyota Tacoma and Chevy Colorado .. after testing and looking at both trucks the Colorado drove better than Tacoma. Tacoma was sr5 and look cheap built all the interior was loose all of it from even the shifter wiggles to the side just like all the interior. First thought it was just that one truck but check the rest and they were all pretty much the same. Seem to me just in couple years going start coming apart. The sales guys said well the motor will last and laughed… than went to Chevy tested z71 Colorado and drove really smooth and loved how aggressive look everything seem really firm from interior al well. Walked out with the Colorado, never imagined getting Chevy only had toyota ram and Nissan and Honda before. First chevy ever for me. Just get what you liked as long as ur happy it’s all that matters…

Tacoma has the higher starting price too. Especially after the dealer maket adjustments and unneeded crap they they throw on. Keep in mind those with a loan at the current high interest rates are paying more interest due to the higher priced truck. If that makes them stretch the loan adding on another year the interest rate also increases. So when all is said and done 5-10 years down the line it may be a wash. Not to mention there are already some issues with the '24 tacoma that are coming out so that resale may not be locked in yet.

In time tested GM fashion, the interior is both ugly and low quality appearing. I swear they buy the scrap plastics from Matel Toys and recyle it. Seats are gross, and again notth of 45k for a 65% of a truck. Nuts, hard pass.
