Great video. I use bookbite and pubby for low and medium content, such as coloring books. My main worry, is that because my kdp and Amazon accounts are the same, if I leave a lot of unverified reviews it may ban my kdp account. Do you use different account for pubby or do you have information on that issue?
I don't have any experience with this to help you out. I only publish high content books and leave verified reviews on high content books that I read on Amazon :)

Works for most books yep. You have multiple different choices on how to upload your book to pubby:)
I only publish in the German market. There is no such service for Germany….

Have you tried this for low content? Obviously low content isn’t on kindle store and can’t be downloaded for 99c so curious if it only works for med/ high content books. Love your content btw 👍
I believe you can upload your book as a pdf if you have a low content book on pubby :)
I use Pubby for my low content books and it works just fine.

Great question. You can upload your book as a PDF on Pubby and people can download it and leave a review. The only downside is that the review will be unverified, but it still gives you the social proof you need :)

Yes you can upload any book to pubby. What the guy didn’t mention it’s quite expensive with 250 US/year, but you get a 14 free trial to get the first bunch of reviews 🎉 GOOGLE „DONT ASK FOR SUGAR“

I believe pubby accepts low content books but members of the community are also recommending a website called bookbite for low content reviews
Hi Barry. Really appreciate your videos!! Is it legit to have a friend have a Pubby account and they help get reviews for your books through it? ie. I have a Pubby account and they have one under their name but put reviews to your books? Thanks for any answer you can give!
Wow I just had this thought yesterday and now I just saw your comment 😂 I haven't tested it out but when you upload your book on pubby, it goes through a review process which makes me assume that they won't allow two accounts to upload the same book. But that's just a theory :)

I can't say for certain since I only tested it out with high content books but I'm pretty sure you might be able to get unverified reviews for low content books :)

Is it ok that the ARC team is always the same on different books?
From my experience its okay. I've also messaged customer support a couple years ago and they also said its okay. I'm not sure if anythings changed recently though regarding ARC teams :)

I believe so yes :)
It does. But if it's a coloring book, an activity book or any of that kind you will not be able to have Verified Purchase.

Great video again! I have a question. I use a different one, Bookbite that it's really nice too because they allow you to upload medium and low content book, so you can review mid an low content book too. The thing is that, if you spent 50 dollars in the last 12 months, you can leave reviews, but in thte three last reviews, Amazon rejected them because of policy terms. After that I sent back an email asking for explanations and, after a couple of them, they put back my review online again. So, my question is, hoy often we can make reviews in order of not having this problem? Thanks A LOT for the content of your videos
Thanks for sharing more review sites. I appreciate you trying to help out the community. When it comes to reviews I don't have all the information. I think it's best if you ask amazon or customer service, they will be able to answer any review questions better than I could. The only thing I know from my experience is the review shows up fine and stays on as long as I read over 50% of the kindle version and also leave a review 24 hours after purchasing :)
@TheJarrl How did you get your reviews back? I tried to contact them and had no reply or an automatic reply like a bot linking their community guidelines.

Hi Barry. My struggle is that I sell my books in the US market but I don't live in the USA. Hence I didn't have an American amazon account to publish my reviews there. You can only publish reviews if you have at least 50 dollars spent on the last 12 months on your account. Pubby doesn't accept reviews from my country so it gets complicated.
In that case, you have to make a purchase for at least 50 dollars. Im not from US either, so I had to do that. I bought something I needed, and i had to pay extra money for the shipment. It's what it is.
@@TheJarrl yes I did. I actually had a good idea and bought credit through a $50 gift card to then use for the Kindle books that I wanted to review. But at some point my reviews started bring rejected because "they couldn't localize me in the USA". And it gets more complicated but I can't comment here because CZcams blocks my comment if I mention methods to change your IP, if you know...
I've had the same problem and did just that. I'm not from the US but ordered a bunch of books to read from the US instead of the German marketplace so I can leave verified reviews on that marketplace :)

@@barrygeorgioukdp Mi problem is that Amazon is rejecting my reviews lately because apparently I break the policy or whatever, I guess that if you make a bunch of reviews in a short of time, they don't allow you. However, they put my reviews back in the page after I complain by email, but it's very tiring do that. If anybody is in my situation I will be happy to hear for suggestions. Thanks again
