Great job.. I like how you made a wading area for people to just walk around the pond and kick their feet in the water to me that makes or brakes a rec pond.

Thanks for the kind words, the kids love that area and depending on the water level an Adirondack chair is perfect too

What pumps did you use and where did you put them? Where is the intake? looks great!

I used 3 3hp variable speed pumps “chlorworks” brand but I think several companies sell the same one including “blue works” all on amazon. Intake bay is on the far side for most of the video and the pumps are about 20’ away from there out of the water.
2 pumps feed the bog/waterfall and one for jets.
Ill try and add another video showing details soon.

How much did it cost and all the material list please, I am interested in doing something like this myself.

This pond is huge, so it was pretty expensive… about 40k. The last one i built half the size was closer to 20k. Pond liner being about 10k for this pond and bog (2 liners).
The next most expensive part was the stone… about 250 Tons of it.
Ill try to add more info to the description soon.

@@mikeofalltradez so I have never done something like this before but I am starting to understand it through many videos, through all the pond liners you use and connect them and everything, are you using double sided seam tape to tape the liners together and how do you go about preventing water from getting between the seams between all the connected liners and everything, also the trash cans you used, what did you put in them, just you just run piping out to hook up to a pump to run water into them and fill them, also between the pond itself and the trash can settup for the waterfall, how do you recirculate the water between the pond and the trash cans so your not filling the pond up over the full mark, also about rain how do you stop the pond from running over the top and into your landscape?
I am interested in this, the design and everything seems realistic for me but the piping, pumps you used and than the seam connecting and recirculating water between the pond to the waterfall trash can settup, and also how to prevent the pond from going over the top from heavy rain, im interested in learning these details so when I do it I’m not going to mess things up.
The piping you ran out from the trash cans, what exactly did that piping run to and did you run anymore piping to the pond itself for like recirculating purposes or cleaning and all, id love to know these details for my own sake.
