Even on its worst day, the Hazel still had more resources that worked that most organists ever have. I’m very glad the Catholics took the time and money to bring it back 100%! And it sounds wonderful!
You can thank the dilapidated organ for most of that. It was in deplorable shape in its last few years, pre-rebuild. Heck, it had literal birds’ nests in some of the pipes!

I think it is bad registration that makes it sounds slurred. Too much tongue work at registration
