Chakma people are quite resembles with malay/singapore people. Love their hospitality.
They came to Bangladesh all the way from Tibet or Nepal to Bangladesh.
@@btj5289Chakmas were first in Ancient India this is why they say 'Magadha' when they are frustrated as slang maybe because the Magadh king were not nice to them. Then many of them migrated to Vietnam.This is why maybe Chakma traditional houses are 4-6 feet lifted from the ground like in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos. Then they migrated to Myanmar and later Chittagong Hill Tract (CHT) and some parts of present India.

Before chakma's conquest to CHT,ARACAN chakma's lived in assam for a century so there are many similar words found in Chakma and Assamese even culture.

Mr. Alfred sir, please visit DHAKA University, during this Biju Similar to the "Pohela Boishakh", the first day of the Bengali new year. There is a "Mangal Shovejatra" ( Mass rally and procession). In 2016, UNESCO declared the festival procession, organized by Dhaka University, an "invaluable cultural heritage of humanity". Pohela Boishakh is celebrated as a national festival in Bangladesh. As such, it is considered a universal folk festival. The day is considered a public holiday in Bangladesh and West Bengal. Thanks.

The authentic typical way of CHAKMA's BIZU is still being celebrated in the INDIAN state of MIZORAM not even in ARUNCHAL PRADESH mostly concentrated in 3 districts by TIRAP, LOHIT and SUBANSIRI from the days of N.E.F.A. of today's north-east india's state of ARUNCHAL PRADESH .
