I wasn't shocked that, overall, she SLAYED the opening night of the SWT because we all know how much she rested her voice and improved on her technique. There were a few flat notes here and there though (especially that high note in Into You; she hadn't attempted a falsetto that high in a long time so I don't blame her for not being able to reach it).
I was surprised by how good the low notes in HMT were, especially considering her lows were at their worst in that tour. This just proves that Ariana never had bad lows.
for SWT, the way her mic was set up, that God is a Woman climax was SO STRONG!!! She was singing!

Tbh I never liked her opening nights đđ and some fans may come for me for saying this but I feel like usually her first 20 shows out of a tour come off like rehearsals. Then it really steps up in terms of stage presence, vocal creativity, and ease. I mean the first legion of the honeymoon tour compared to the summer and South American leg are crazy different. Same with the sweetener tour comparing the first legion compared to Europe ( and the final American one wouldâve been killing it too if she didnât get sick towards the end of the second one )
U arenât wrong. She experiments in the first few shows to see where her voice will be comfortable and then when her voice & body gets used to the whole tour schedule & demandments, thats where she sits and build her comfortability & confidence hence how we didnât get a lot of D6âs in the first part of the tour until Europe

@@briannaaudain928 It was great yeah, I never said it was bad. It was definitely better than the first. I mean I went to both the first and second North American legion at some point ( DC and Charlottesville ) and can definitely say the latter was way better. But I was simply saying the European one was the best, and the final legion couldâve been as great if she didnât get sick. Because she was missing Bb5âs, her runs got a bit messier, and so did her intonation by the end of the tour. Honestly Iâd say after Atlanta she shouldâve just stopped.
