Just to be clear ivermectin isn't just horse dewormer, its also an anti parasitic for humans. Dont take it for covid though as there isn't any research on if it works and you can still overdose on it.
I realise Nish mentions a specific case where people have taken horse dewormer but I think its good to separate the two so people can't undermine good arguments by saying we spreading mis info.
Right. Unfortunately, the horse dewormer description wasn’t just because of one case or even one state. Poison control centers all over the country were receiving a record # of calls. Most doctors won’t prescribe the human (oral) version for Covid, but the large animal version is available over-the-counter at feed stores, so most of the users were getting it that way, at least initially. In other words, the people who support this untested idea most enthusiastically brought this humiliation on themselves, but as usual those who call others “snowflakes” can’t handle being laughed at. Your approach is reasonable, however those pushing this snake oil will just jump to another logical fallacy, when you debunk this one.

Yes, Ivermectin was created as an antiparasitic medicine but just like a lot of other medicines it doesn't just work for that one particular thing.
Turns out that Ivermectin interacts with the spike protein wich is the protein that COVID-19 infects to reproduce itself and Ivermectin basically makes the protein impenetrable to infection.

I have Crohn's disease very high on the list of people that suffer severely from COVID-19 if they get infected and receive a medicine named Remsima and my doctor told me that she hadn't had a single patient with COVID-19, and she thinks that the medicine that I get for basically my infected bowls helps to protect me from COVID-19.

@@annother3350 How do you know it was the vaccine? Could your mother have been going to have that stroke anyway? Usually you have other issues leading up to a massive stroke. My father had many mini strokes that he didn't tell anyone about before he had one during a checkup at his doctor's office. He ended up having 2 larger strokes later. I'm just saying that you should find out your mother's medical history. You may be wrong about the vaccine causing this.

I'm sorry to hear that.The vaccine should be a choice however and unnvaccinated people should not be villified.
Another friend of mine had an awful time after the first vaccine -- terrible flu like symptoms for days. Then after his second one it was TWICE AS BAD -- thought he was going to die.

@The GameCat's out of the Gluebag-ger i havent watched it but from various clips advertied on tv it doesnt look funny.. usually they put the funniest bits on clips.. so im guessing its probably as funny as going to the dentist...
Very few good shows are ever cancelled. So when another channel takes them on they end up even worse.

@@MossySphynxx its not that dave cant make good stuff (taskmaster) its just they dont have much budget... and also red dwarf i think got rid of one of the good writers.. so they went to less budget and less good writing.. taskmaster started with low budget... its one reason why sitcoms are no longer a thing or they are crap cos they require a lot of talented writing and time, and money to produce a quality show.. which is why panel shows have become a thing.. tv channels can make more money for less money & effort put in... get a bunch of comedians to say funny things, most of which they make out is witty off the cuff jokes but is in fact lines from their stand up shows.. which you will realise if you ever buy their stand up dvds... no one makes good sitcoms anymore because of greed basically... how can the tv channel executives make the most money for the least effort.. im repeating myself a lot.. a bit like dave
