They've just launched a new melodic core project named Unholy Orpheus, focusing on screaming vocals rather than clean singing, distinguishing it from Unlucky Morpheus. That’s why Fuki participated as a featured artist in only one song. The project has released two music videos so far: 'Want to LIVE' and 'Undeveloped Land'.🤘

They didn't reverse it, they played it backwards after playing it forwards, and they do this live.

The Idea for the track came from Shiren, he got the idea from a newspaper artical, about a company in Switzerland, that takes the ashes of a person and compress's them so they become a diamond. Then he thought about someone that loved the person, that was turned in to a diamond, so much, that they wanted to return them to real life, so the reverse of the process.
So Shiren sat dawn and wrote a song that can be played both ways, so the reverse of each other. So it was dilibrate way he wrote it to work both ways. It's only the drums and vocals that do not go in to reverse, apart from the last 2 lines of Cadaver, and the 1st 2 of revadac, which are German by the way.
Yes they are 2 seperate songs, so you can have 1 with out the other, or like one more, but the whole thing was a, because we can do it.

    Cadaver (English lyrics)
    I will come back here
The flaming remains of the rotten cadaver
    and the formless red ashes
    turn into a stone vessel
The lunar cycle goes on and on
    Keeping inside an extinguished life
    Come forth, precious stone
and shine on for all eternity
    A beautiful end
    preserved through time
I wonder where I'll move onto
at the end of my journey to the realm of the dead
    that I have fallen to
My futureless white bones become the symbol
    of my fleeting dying wish
I search for proof of me having ever lived a life
    Only leaving my soul behind
    Come forth, precious stone
and shine on for all eternity
    A beautiful end
    preserved through time
    Come forth, divine miracle
    and turn back the clock
    Revadac (English lyrics)
    tnamaiD muz ehcsA red noV
    tnamaiD muz ehcsA red noV
[reversed German, From Ashes to Diamond]
If I can turn back the clock
just to see you again one more time
Your untraceable remains are locked up
    inside of the stone
    I'll chase your beloved figure
even if I have to defy fate
With this hand I'll defile God
until the day you are resurrected
    Recall that sentiment!
    Contemplate this outrage!
    Encounter that regret!
    Restore that starlight!
    tnamaiD muz ehcsA red noV
    tnamaiD muz ehcsA red noV
    Embracing the sacred paper doll
this heart hopes for a miracle
    Even now my beloved
    still shines beautifully
As many times as it takes I'll kill God
until the day you come back to life
    Reunite with that joy!
    Be deluded by those eyes!
At the time when that faith rises
    You will come back here
    tnamaiD muz ehcsA red noV
    tnamaiD muz ehcsA red noV

They have a version with the score overlayed on the video which makes it easier to understand what is going on (I wish they just released that video instead of both of them). Revadac is basically a new track (it's 2 separate tracks on the CD, they are back-to-back though), but the guitars, bass and violin play the music from Cadaver in the opposite direction (so from right to left if you would read a score). The vocal melodies are also done like that (I think), but the lyrics and drums are redone to fit with the track (so no backwards vocals). I have read that the lyrics are also have somewhat of the opposite meaning of Cadaver. The video has parts that are played backwards and forwards to match both directions of play somewhat.

Cool Reaction! My Unlucky Morpheus favourite from their, to me, best album "Change of Generation" and they played it live on that that tour as well. Shiren, who used to play in my second favourite band Yousei Teikoku, just behind our Ladies in Lovebites, wrote this piece and he is also the bands leader. I consider him to be on, more or less, the same level as Miyako as a musician and songwriter and he plays the Piano as well, surprise surprise. Anyways, Keep on reacting.

finally that great duo songs that demonstrate how great they are at writing songs (composing ? not sure it's the correct term in english, sorry not a native english speaker)
Looking forward to get how you feel about that great moment. (wrote that at the paused 0:47 mark)

EDIT part : 11:35 simply because it's a band with far less "simping" males watching it and enjoying it as opposed to some other all female japanese bands that are featured in a way more "sexualized" way visually (you know to whom I refer, as you play them often). I think that's mostly true music fans that enjoys Unlucky Morpheus and far less of the "following crowd". More of a "niche" band, and yet, in my opinion one of the best out there.
The only negative thing I have to say for Unlucky Morpheus is that if you want something different in the style of music and composition in songs (like NEMOPHILA) you won't get much of that.
They do them and they do it at an insanely great level, but it's way more linear than some other bands, as thus can get a bit more repetitive and boring to some people I guess.
Try to listen at 2h straight of Unlucky Morpheous, and you'll get my point, yet 2-3 songs here and there and that's a 110% enjoyement factor.

When I first saw this I had no info at all so I was a bit confused. It took me a bit to realize what was going on. The drummer s a beast. He had that crazy double bass going the entire time. They are all amazing musicians and Fuki is a great vocalist. Most of the Japanese bands on CZcams don't have nearly enough views as far as I'm concerned. I think BAND-MAID recently hit 200,000,000 views and I don't think that's even enough. Babymetal is an exception.

That had to be a lot of work to write something that sounds good no matter what direction you play in.I have played things backwards and they sound like crap. I wonder how long it took to write this.
